EE Writing Exercise

The train ride had my seat bumping up and down. It seemed like a never-ending cycle of death-defying rollercoaster, my luggage doing loops. My eyes wandered the train compartment. The cheap “wanna-be luxurious” curtains bounced up and down as moths scattered from the luggage rack to try and hide in my furniture. I pulled myself up, my hair dragging all over the place like the muddy hay-stack in a horse stable.
“Stupid train,” I thought to myself out loud. I sat down and upon sitting on those lumpy, food stained cushions I set my eyes on a door. The door was like that of a compartment sliding door, it seemed not only ordinary and shoddy; it was grotesque!
I tried to shift my eyes from it, but something kept me glued. The door had gone from a bargain-cost, shaky door to an enchanted, mystery ridden idea. What if this raggedy, old thing had a magic spell upon it to keep my eyes glued? What if this compartment was cursed by a ghost who was murdered by the blood-stain on the door? What if when I opened the door I could save a murder and turn from boring, amateur writer to a hero?
My mind was made. I put my hand on the rough, inferior bronze door knob and click it open. Suddenly I saw the man that could help me become a hero through words. It was the Mister “Evil Editor.”
I gasped, just like a citizen seeing a movie star and shouted, “Hello Evil Editor! I’m a new fan of your website! It’s a great thing for me to read…”
I, the psychotic serial-killer, but I wasn’t going to stab him with the worse thing he never wished to encounter on his ride. “Would you read my book?"

I tried to do a luxury train, but I felt like I must make the train a cruddy, falsely advertised wanna-be luxury train.
