• Vanessa looked at Wanda as she wraps her legs with bandages, "you got rather banged up out there", Wanda told her, Vanessa couldn't even muster the strength to shrug her own shoulders, "are you serious, look at me, I'm a disaster", she told her before sighing, "look, I just want to go home", Vanessa told Wanda. The truth was, she was a bit scared because she had no idea where she was, "I don't think that's an option Vanessa", Wanda said while slicing the bandage with her powers, "you still need to rest, I'm surprised you're talking, let alone sitting up", she said before placing the gauze into the first- aid box. She closed her eye's, not wanting to hear none of what she was saying, "I want Sage, where is she?!", since coming here Sage had been the only one that would talk to her, or even take her out when it was clearly obvious she wasn't supposed to, Wanda looked at her, "she isn't here at the moment", she said while laying her back down on the soft pillow, "but I'll tell her to stop by", she said before heading out, the door slides open, and then closed. Once a minute passed Vanessa turned her head to face the closet, "was that nice acting, or what", she tried to laugh but it hurt when she did, Sage steps out of the closet and chuckled, "she is right though, you need rest to recover", she told her as she shut the closet door, Vanessa roles her eyes, "I don't want to rest, I want to go out side and get some vitamin D", Sage smiled, she walks over towards the bed, "fine, fine. But this is the last time, promise me you'll rest, okay?", Sage said. Vanessa grins, "I can't say I'll promise", she said, Sage's face turned serious, "okay, okay.... I promise", she said.

    Sage wheeled her out in a wheel chair and heads down the hall where many different kinds of mutants passed them by, "so, this is where all the mutants come?", Vanessa asked, Sage nods her head, "yes, they come to Genosha in order to live their lives in peace", Sage said before turning a corner, "then why does Magneto cause so much chaos, if he really cares he should stop what he's doing. It's only making things worse", Vanessa said. It took a few seconds in order for Sage to respond, "I am sure it's for the best", was all she said before stopping in the garden, "yeah, sure". She watched Sage walk around, admiring the flowers that surrounded them, she takes a sniff of a rose, her face scrunching up, "what an awful smell", she says in a low voice, Vanessa grins, "roses are only good for their looks, not their smell", she told her before looking over at the sun flowers for a long amount of time before speaking again, "Sage, help me up", Vanessa turns her head to see Sage, who looked confused, "why?", she asked while she walked over towards her, "just, help me up", she asked once again. Sage held her by her shoulders, "are you sure about this Vanessa?", she said, Vanessa nods her head, she was sure about this, if she wasn't then she wouldn't have asked her to do something like this. She groans in pain, just standing up with out moving sent a painful burning sensation up her legs, "Vanessa, I think standing is enough", Sage told her, but Vanessa ignored her, she takes a step forward, it was agonizing, but that didn't stop her from taking another step, then another until she walked slowly around the garden until she felt light headed, "didn't.... didn't I tell you I could....", Sage watched Vanessa sway back and forth until her whole body tumbled back, Sage caught her, "do it....", Vanessa said in a low voice, instead of placing her back inside the wheel chair Sage held her in her arms and carried her back to the room she rested in.

    Logan traveled a long way in order to reach Genosha, and to his surprise he wasn't exactly alone either. He unsheathed his adamantium claws, a deep growl emits from his throat, " what the hell are you doin' here Gambit?!", for a few seconds there was silence, then rustling in a near by tree, "you got me", Remy said with a grin on his face, Logan grunts, he had a good idea why Gambit would be here, but he wasn't sure why, "why are you hear?", Logan asked him before sheathing his claws. Remy leaps down from the tree, landing perfectly, "dat ain't none of yo business now is it", Remy said while turning towards the large city, a low growl came from Logan as he followed behind him.

    Vanessa woke up, the room was dark, the only light inside the room was the moons, she leans up a bit, the covers sliding off of her chest revealing bandages across her chest, Vanessa sighed, they had undressed her while she was passed out, "wow....", haven't they ever heard of personal space?! She tries to get off of the bed, and succeeded, "I wouldn't do that if I were you", a deep voice had said, Vanessa clutched her chest, her breathing a bit off, "who?", she managed to say before leaning on the wall, who ever was in the room with her had scared the life out of her. The dark figure stepped into the moons light, "Magneto?", Vanessa said through clenched teeth, "you're the one who hurt Logan!", she yelled, she could feel the anger rising, "you were going to KILL him!!", a few small red X's appear by her side, Magneto only smiles, "he refused my offer, so I had to child", he told her. Vanessa clenched her fists, "you're a cruel b*****d!", she takes a few wobbly steps towards him, "girl don't you know you're too weak to even fight", he says before lifting his hand, the metal pot near him began to reform into sharp needles, "now, will you sit down and hear what I have to say, or do I have to treat you the way I did Logan?", he told her. The metal needles dance around in circles while he awaits his answer, Vanessa crossed her arms, "the Logan special please", she said before grinning, her answer how ever did not amuse Magneto, he frowns, "foolish little girl," he thrusts his hand forward, causing the metal needles to quickly come at her, the red X's near her block off some, but a few stuck her right in her left thigh and both arms, "HAA!!", Vanessa ran towards him, her body slamming tight into him, both fall to the floor, creating a loud thud, "who's the weak one NOW!!", she gets up, takes out all the metal needles from her arms and left thigh, and ran/walked out of the room, and into the dark hallway.

    It wasn't long before Magneto got back up, she figured this because all the metal in the hall began to wobble and shake, and then the loud yell from down the hall, she turned down a hall, she stops to take a breather, and to rest her burning muscles, "ngh....", she continues down the wobbly hall, this time walking instead of running. There was a window but it wasn't the opening type, "you can't HIDE from me girl", Magneto's voice echoed, Vanessa looked over her shoulder, a thick metal Earth had been on the floor, she picks it up and backed up, "one.... two.... THREE!", she throws the metal Earth at the window, it shatters into many pieces and she steps out, cutting the bottom of her feet as she went, "UH!", she fell onto her knees, cutting them as well. She grabs hold of the railing and pulled herself up, "there you are", she turns her head quickly to see Magneto, his facial expression angry, "you X-Men seem to never understand", a strong force pushed her over the railing, she falls down, it was too dark to actually tell what height she was falling, but either way it would hurt, badly. With the little bit of energy left she conjured a few medium sized X's that she crashed on, causing more pain than she wanted, then in an instant she hit ground, "UUHH!", she squirms, "AAHHH!", she had landed on her arm, causing the bone to snap under the pressure, she had to think, think through the pain or else she wouldn't escape. Magneto lands near her, "I built Genosha so that mutants could live in peace, a place where no one would be rejected", she could hear his foot steps coming closer, "I try to help, but the X-Men seem to always get in my way", a low laugh comes from Vanessa, "help?.... You're just making it.... worse", she said before slowly getting up to her feet, "I'm going to leave now....", she said while limping away from him, he clenched his fists, "I'm going to make an example out of you, you brat!", but she couldn't hear him, the pain was too great, and in any minute she would pass out completely. Magneto used his magnetic energy to rip a sharp pole from the ground, and thrust it over at Vanessa, but in an instant she was gone, only a puff of purple smoke remained.

    Kurt could only watch his friend fall from such a height until she hit the ground, her pained cries made his heart hurt, "vhen Scott?! VHEN!", Kurt stepped up towards him, he was in his face now, "she's getting hurt and ve are doing nothing!", he just wanted to shake Scott, or punch him, but he didn't, "just wait until Ororo gives the signal", Kurt turned away from him, his tail whipping back and forth, he bit his lower lip as he watched Magneto rip out a sharp metal pole from the ground and throw it at her, "NO!", like instinct her teleported towards her, took her in his arms and vanished, he did not care if he ruined their plan. He appeared near a tree, "UHG!", Kurt gasped, he had forgotten about her arm, "sorry", he was about to head back until he was stopped, "good thinkin' elf", it was Logan, and also Remy, "ja", he smiled softly.

    The sound of thunder told the three that Ororo was already making her move. A quick flash of lightning lit the area, then another, and another, "Kurt watch over her", Logan unsheathed his claws, "Ro ain't taken all the fun this time", he ran towards the fight, Remy walked over to Kurt to only look down at her, then he ran off in order to help the others.

    Ororo gave her all, she saw what had happened, he had pushed her off the railing, "how dare YOU!", she shot another lightning bolt at him, and another. Ororo was soo angry at this point that electricity danced about her eyes, winds began to pick up and rain fell, Magneto had a hard time keeping track of her, along with his goons, "Ororo! Calm down, you'll put us all out if you don't!", Logan yelled out towards her, she looks down at him, she nods her head, and tried to calm the storm within herself until the rain stopped and the winds died down, she did how ever use a single lightning bolt and casts it down towards the few mutants, then she flew back down. Scott shot a few beams, some were mostly at Magneto, Remy had beaten half of the group of mutants as well as Logan, "LETS GO!", Ororo had yelled out from the X-Jet, Scot, Logan, and Remy pull back and head inside, Scott heads into the front along with Ororo, and the rest strap themselves into their seats, "how is she?", Ororo asked as she lifts the X-Jet up, Kurt had wrapped up her arm, but that was all he could do, "not so vell", he said, she took a deep breath, "hold on, this is going to be a quick trip", the jet takes off, leaving Genosha behind.

    A weeks had passed, and still there are no signs of waking, Hank said she would be like this for over a month in a half, Vanessa was in really bad shape. Ororo sat at her bedside every day, she missed her classes, Scott had to fill in for most of the days along with Kurt, until Hank had taken her out for a cup of coffee.

    Remy opens the door to the room, and heads in, closing the door behind him, he had found it rather boring these past weeks with out Vanessa. He sits in a near by chair and fiddles with his deck of cards until that too got dull, he sighed, "I hope dat kiss wasn't jus luck", he smiled to himself, his gaze meets her bandaged face, down to her lips. Remy takes hold of her bandaged hand and held it firmly, he leans down with out thinking and kissed her on the lips, it wasn't long, but short, he pulled away, she was still silently asleep, Remy cursed himself for thinking such a thing would work, it was obviously luck, that is until he heard a groan, "Vanessa?", he said, her eyes flutter open, "water....", she said, Remy grins, he stands up and heads towards the door, "welcome back, sleepin' beauty", and with that he walked out to grab some water.
