Can you see the end?
The sun goes down in a red sky.
A soldier lies in a bloody field.
The light shines brightly at the tunnel's end.
The frost steals the beggar's breath.
A ship meets the deep in a storm.
Someone is shot at gun-point.
Looking down upon the ground,
He sees his life leak out of his wrists.
Another far away shall do the same
As the car explodes this day.
This can happen at once,
In a single evening that seems innocent.
Did you see the sun go down?
It hides to live again tomorrow,
And the red sky is the memorial
For those who saw the end.

Description:
This is a free-verse poem and thus, it has no rhyme. Besides, not all poems contain rhyme and my poems are no exception. However, not all great poems need rhyme, so don't comment on saying that my poem need rhyme!

I like it. You're right, not every poem needs rhyme which makes poetry sound repetitive at times. This piece is unique,
it flows well and seems a bit choppy at once. 5 Stars - Report As Spam

- I personally don't like rhyming poems, but the overall beat of this isn't too pleasing. You have a lot of really good lines, the last one being my favorite, but the tempo of the poem could flow a lot smoother if you just picked at a few of the words with the editor's scissors.
