rain drops are my feeling
the clouds are my pain
the darkness is my heart
as the shadow is my shame

the person has left
but the feelings remain
the heart still beats
although it is in pain

the mind is closed
as are the eyes
the blood is pumping
as i meet my demise

the world is still moving
as are your lips
im not listening
in this place i do not fit

the wounds are mistaken
no feelings remain
the pain has disappeared
as has your name

my mind is free
no clouds in the way
my is soul is delightful
as the sun shines away
