While I know I am so beautiful,
A being so extravagant and sure,
I stand before you all today,
Torn up on the floor.
I know my ways weren't so great,
and my best wasn't the best.
But I plead to you in great sorrow,
seemingly as little as a pest.
Please take my apology with heart,
Like the amazing people I know you to be.
And give this young woman one more chance
To a better life, you'll see.
You listen with great honor.
An effort I cannot show.
Because I myself am honorless,
As you all seem to know.
But maybe with your wisdom,
You'll come along and see,
That I wasn't as bad as once thought,
But not the best I could be.
My arrogance shows I now know,
and with great emotion I fall to the floor.
I'll kiss your feet, your soles and shoes,
If you give me time once more.
Please people of this city,
Listen very well,
Because if you let me back on the throne,
I'll make this city swell.

- Title: Let Her Back on the Throne
- Artist: sayaandtenshi
- Description: This is a poem I wrote while I was bored. It's about a selfish queen who was thrown from her throne because she couldn't run the city well. Now she's pleading to be allowed back up on the throne. (The last line...swell does not mean well, it means to grow)

HI, you're writing is beaiutiful, but the only thing i'd suggest is to read more literature, it will expand your thinking and help your poems flow more like melting silk, rather than just teenage conversation that rhymes. i believe you can do it tho..
