If someday it comes to be that i grow frail.
I become to weak just to wag my tail.
Then do what you must, it must be done.
Im fighting this battle that cannot be won.

When the time comes for me to go.
Hold my little paw because I love you so.
Dont show a tear until i can't see.
I want to go while your holding me.

For on this day im laid to rest.
Your love for one thing will surely stand the test.
You will be sad I understand.
Please, don't hold the guilt in your hand.

Just remember we will never be apart.
Because you hold me and I hold you
In the corner of our hearts.

I love you

It was a REALLY good poem, I think, however, that even though it's about pets, (which is all well and good) it's a cuter poem for a couple. But thats just me. 5/5
