Heaven to me
Is a glass of cold tea
On a warm morning with a cool breeze
By the sea with that first cigarette of the day.
A good conversation with a good friend
About nothing in particular,
Just quiet joy.
A smiling child with a smiling toy
In a sunny park where the trees hide behind
Golden, copper, fiery leaves that sing with the sun.
Car rides late at night across bridges
Beneath the dancing stars while
The moon races you.
Clean white curtains billowing
Wind chimes singing and dreamcatchers catching
While the evening sun turns everything pink and orange.
Coffee cooling at a table of family, talking
You haven't seen in ages.
That's Heaven to me.

- Title: Heaven
- Artist: from my hands
- Description: I wrote this after my family and I had been sitting around a table for hours. We were drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes, listening to classic rock. And we were talking about religion. When we do this we debate for hours. So I wrote a little concrete poem.
