This came to me when a fellow fiction writer: Seyli Hsa, and I, kinda randomly crossed Ideas. Long story short, it involved my charecter becoming a maid at the Gambino Mansion long before it exploded, and since i was wearing a ninja headband at the time, the ninja maid was born, and i decided to write this as her introduction. It's rather long, but I was bored when i wrote this xd so here it is:

Origin of a Ninja Maid
Nervous as hell.
That's the statment that would have described the girl walking down the hallway. This was the only job offering she could find taht accepted 'Demi-Humans' as it's staff this close to the mansion, and it was imperitive that she be as close as she could get. Lucky for her, the job was inside the mansion.
The staff that she saw, knowing there just had to be more working in a place of this size, were rather helpful and friendly in directing her to her destination, if not a little cocky and overbearing about it. Then again, that tended to happen to you when you worked for Gaia's most powerful man.
Emirie Katakana gulped as she stood before the gigantic door that led into Johnny K. Gambino's room. She felt herself shrink back in fear, fear of his influence, his power, and for what may happen to her if she screwed up, but as quickly as the emotion hit her, she directed it away. Failure was not an option, she had to succeed. What awaited her should she fail was worse than merely forgetting part of her job tasks. This in mind, she knocked on the door.
"COME IN!"
Emirie was almost visibly trembling as she opened the door to the rather loud command of Johnny himself. The room was very much like the rest of the mansion: adorned with gold and red, banners and trinkets and pictures eitehr hanging from the walls or up on shelves. There was even a staricase reminiscent of the one in the main hall leading up to a loft. She wouldn't yet know what was up there, as something to her right caught her eye. A bed, with the same color theme as everything else, and easily one of the biggest things in the room.
<Silk sheets eh? Should of seen that one coming....> Emirie thought. She normally preffered silver over gold any day, but she was falling in love rahter quickly with the mansion. Subconciously, anyway. What took precidence over that was Johnny Gambino was sitting on the edge of the bed looking straight at her.
"Come, sit down!" his voice echoed, making the giant room seem instantly smaller. Emirie walked over to the chair he motioned to and took her seat. Gino Gambino, who was previously obscured from view due to his gaint of a father, was looking at her apologetically, as if to try and make up for the intimidation set off by his father. It helped her to remember that Johnny was a man that loved the sound of his own voice. She cast a greatful glance at him before returning her attention to the older Gambino. "You are looking for work," Johnny stated, risding form his position on the bed and walking over to stare out a giant window to her left, "...this place is almost always expanding for upcoming events, so you're basically guarenteed the job...I just want to know," he turned from the view to face her again, his face twisted with curiosity, "why would no one else hire you?"
The fact that Emirie's reply wasn't entirely false made it a little easier for her to say than she thought it would. "The shopkeepers said my appearance my scare away certain coustomers, and..."
"...How so?" a small, yet firm voice joined in on the conversation. It was Gino, Johnny, having already met with Emirie once before this 'interview' about the job, understood what she ment and nodded to her, giving permission to show his son her reason. She stood and faced the boy, unflatening her cat-ears from her head, and flicking her tail into view.
"They think demi-humans like me will scare the coustomers away..." she continued, returning to face Johnny again to answer the rest of his question, "Barton's commerce district would probably love to hire me, but to many of those places push my moral ethics to their limits, " she finished, taking her seat again. Glancing back at Gino, she found him in slight shock. She chalked this up to the predujice shown by the shopkeepers, fairly certain he'd seen his share of people like her around Gaia.
Johnny actually laughed, at what Emirie assumed was her comment on the commerce district, and then looked her over, making her nervous again as he laked towards the door, saying something about getting her a uniform, and leaving. That was when she remembered what most of the female staff were wearing.
"Great, a cat-girl maid. There's a cliché ¦or you." she smirked. Gino had started laughing a bit, causing her to turn and look at him. He was smiling, for the first time since she arrived. He was rather handsome, a lot like his father in physical appearance, save for his size, but Johnny was to old for her, and Gino to young. Still, that wouldn't stop her from admiring them a little.
"What's so bad about the commerce?" the younger Gambino asked.
"There are so many flippin' strip clubs that..."
"O-Okay! Moving on," Gino interupted, his face turning a slight pink, causing Emirie to laugh. She wasn't so sure she wanted to finish her sentence anyhow. "I did notice however," he started up again, "that you are wearing a Gaian ninja band. Who trained you?"
Emirie cringed. She was forced to tell Johnny this due to her need for this job, but she really didn't want to relive the memories again, so she hoped her answer would suffice the boy. "No one you would know, Mister Gino, and no one that I want to remember knowing..."
"Fair enough," he replied with a bigger smile, "and it's Gino. 'Mister' makes me feel as old as my father!"
She was about to apologize when the door re-opened, but Gino understood and nodded in acceptance as Johhny strode back into the room with a maid outfit abd a....suitcase? The confsion must have been apparent on her face, because he laughed again.
"Unless you want to walk the streets of gaia dressing in a maid outfit everyday, i suggest you stay in one of our extra rooms."
Emirie shuddered at the thought of walking through the commerce to get to Gambino Isle in that outfit. "Yes, I see your point. I'll stay here," she replied, voice still wavering from her previous thought as she rose from her chair, "but do you mind if I go and get my things now?"
"Bwahaha! Not at all! We will wait in the main hall for your return."
Bowing her head, Emirie headed for the door. After she left the mansion, stopped for directions when she needed it, she took out her cellphone, held down one of the buttons, and raised it to her ear.
"...Hello?"
"It's me. I got in."
"And?"
"Got the job, on my way to transfer my belongings now."
"Excellent! I cannot thank you enough for this Emirie..."
"It's the least I can do since you helped me finish my training."
"Heh. Anyway, when you get everything packed, visit me before returning to Gambino mansion. I'll have a paper with further instuctions since you can't waste the time you have."
"Yes sir, mister Edmund." with that, Emirie hung up and shot off running towards her house.
