Hoi!
I have another "interesting" story to tell! It happened last night...
So, our garage door broke, so my dad, being the persistent idiot he is, decided to try and fix it. So, he's been working on the door for about...well, let's say eight hours. And he calls me down to help him. Now, I really don't mind helping, but...I was pretty obstinate that we should call a repair man instead. I said nothing. So, we finished tightening the spring (which broke), and we decided to test it out. Thus, I pressed the button, and it worked. Halfway. Apparently, the spring was too tight on one end. So, it didn't work, and we had to try again. So, after about four more tries, and about seven more instances of me insisting we should call a repair man, we tried one last time. And, when I pressed the button, the door went down, down, and then it kinda...exploded. The wheels (there are wheels on most modern silent garage doors) had shattered off, and the door had been wedged into the wall. And then I gave my dad grief for not listening to me.
So, we ended up calling a repair man as I had suggested, and ended up spending about $507.00, instead of the $100.00 we could have paid if we had all just listened to me. And whenever people don't listen to me, I'm right. EVERY time.
So, we learn two things from this. Well, actually, three. One: never fix something yourself if you don't know how to. Two: Listen to me, or you're going to pay (Literally!) Three: most dads are very...persistent and stupid. Or naive. Actually, kill the naive part.
Well, that's all I have to ramble on about...cya later.

P.S.: Post Scriptum! I got the seventh Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! Can't wait to read it! And no, I will NEVER reveal the ending. Especially not like those horrid people who actually scanned the book. That's an awful thing to do. Oh, and if you didn't know, Gaia actually banned someone from the site because they had scans of the last page of Harry Potter. They were forced too, but I'm proud that they did. I don't want anyone spoiling the ending! Wow...that's an awfully long Post Scriptum...
