Anyone miss me? I know you did, come on say it. Not really. Well, life in Wildwood New Jersy is...different. Especially when you're stuck with your grandmother who has to breathe down your neck...even though you can take care of yourslef. *groan* Everyday we went to the beach...didn't want to. But get this! There's a REAL board walk...I mean with wood...not concrete like in VA Beach. Many stories to be told, but I'll tell my favs. So, we walked the boardwalk and I did some shopping. I wound up buying a black and red sarong chinese characters all over it and a silver key/heart-shaped necklace with a bunch of rhinestones in it. Both are awesome. For two days we walked the boardwalk in the afternoon...and the third day I was there Alanna, my counsin, and I played DDR in one of the arcades. ((DDR withdraw...didn't bring playstation with me ^^)) Last day, we did all the piers on the boards. The piers are mini-amusment parks every few blocks, and alot of the rides were similar to ones I have already ridden in the past. Like the Nor'Eastern...that was like the Alpengiest in Busch Gardens. The tupid log rides are all the same...and swinging ships do the same thing. Coolest ride? The Sea Serpent. It pulls you backwards out of the station and up a hill, then drops you. After like the third loop, You go backwards and back up the hill, only to be dropped again...backwards. It was AWESOME!
Showed my bird knowledge on the beach, helping to identify the different birds of prey. ^^ Went out for ice cream, and for my first time, had polish water ice. It's like italian ice, but less solid. We went back to the real house after three days at the beach, and to my relief, there was internet. Bad news? Computer was really slow and my grandma sat and watched me the entire time. Two reasons this was annoying. One: My sixth sense was driving me insane. Two: Overly protective grandmothers don't understand what a wepage for a book is. So, regretfully, I called it a day and shoowed her out. It's hard to defend the blind kid on forums while shivering...really is. wink So, yes! Izzy...and a hundred other nicknames, is back! *rocker fist*
