This is a memorial to a best friend, a role model, a loved one, a cherished one....My grandfather

Frank W. Green
he was born April second 1917 and passed away October forth 2007. he was 90 and a WW2 vet. He lived with my Grandmother Evelyn Catlin being married with her for 58 years. he also had a house of six kids with my Nana.
I will miss him greatly from the candy and ice cream he gave me even though my dad had yet left the house. for the advise on school and life he gave silently. then proud hugs I received after all of my achievements and for the complements I got from all the Scottish short breads, black berry jam and coffee syrup I gave him. I will miss the faded plaid shirts and the smell of strong coffee in the morning every time I was at their house. I will miss the crinkling of newspaper and the articles read out loud if it was interesting. I will miss the snores given off in the background of all the chattering relatives. I will miss the soft comments given during the old tv shows me and my sister watched with them. I will miss the funny but lovable bickering between my Nana and Papa. I will miss the whistling in the gardens he tended to and the hugs good bye. I will miss all of these and so much more memories shared over the years. my heart hurts but knows he is in a better place. he can see clear and hear great. and I know hes waiting for Nana with a smile. I love you Papa and I will miss you.
