Chapter 6. The Close Kiss.
"Alishia, will you come with me and your father to the park? It's such a nice day out!"
Alishia's face lit up.
"Can Ben and Rose come too?" She asked excitedly and looked at me.
"If Rose wants too."
I nodded.
As long as Ben was going, count me in!
"Sounds lovely." I said and smiled back at Alishia, who was grinning widely.
Then Alishia was out at the door, holding it open.
Holy Crap, she's fast! I thought and felt Ben's cold hand wrap around mine.
"Ben keep an eye on this one, she may be good for you." I heard Lilyen whisper.
I felt myself flush.
Ben just smiled and nodded.
We walked out the door and Ben put me on his back.
"What are you doing?" I asked shocked.
"We're going to the park!" He laughed.
"Mike! Come on!" Lilyen shouted in the house.
"Your hungry...we should hunt before we go. Just incase you slip." A deep voice said.
"Alright. Ben watch out for your sister, we will be there soon."
"Sure."
After that we where running, with Max hot on our trail.
The wind was so fast I ducked my head on Ben's shoulders.
His Dark Reddish hair flapped in the gust.
It was a wonderful sight.
His sister was ahead of us.
Her hair was light brown.
Everything went by so fast I didn't even know when we stoped.
I had my head still on his shoulders.
"Umm...we're here." Ben laughed.
"Oh, right!" I said and got down.
"Whoa!"
We were in a dark place, trees everywhere.
"I thought we were supposed to go to the park..." I said gazing around us.
"We're here! This is my park. Alishia is already on the monkey bars." He pointed to her.
I laughed as she swang from branch to branch.
Max barked and panted while he layed down for a nap.
"Where's the swings?" I asked feeling kind of stupid.
Before I could say anything else he picked me up and sat me down on a single swing on his lap.
"That was fast." Was all I could say.
He laughed and began to swing back and fourth.
I'm gonna fall! I'm gonna fall! I thought to myself and held on to him tight.
Alishia was enjoying my scared faces.
I stuck my tounge out at her when I could.
The swing was making me a little tired.
The way it swang back and fourth.
It was a lullaby.
I could actually hear the words in my mind.
Before I knew it, I fell asleep.
"Rose, Rose." I heard a soft voice wake me. "Wake up."
I heard a roaring noise in the background.
"Rose, come on. We need to go it's raining."
I opened my eyes and saw Ben sitting by me with his face again inches from mine.
"Your eyes are hazle. Are you alright?" Ben asked studying my eyes.
"Uh...j-just cold." I lied.
He frowned.
"Well I wonder why!" He teased.
"Where's Max and Alishia?" I asked.
"Oh they left without us." Ben said and blushed a little.
"Oh."
Yes! We're alone at last! I thought and sat up.
"Sooo..." Ben's voice trailed off.
"Do you want to get out of the rain?" I offered.
He looked at me.
"I mean, it doesn't matter. I love the rain."
His eyes lit up.
Oh, tourcher me! His eyes were big yellow and childish.
He looked like a little kid.
He leaned closer.
I flushed.
"You know what I love?"
My thoughts were all scrambled up, I was tounge tied!
"Wh-what?"
My heart thudded against my chest.
Before I could do anything else, he was leaning towards me.
I closed my eyes and felt his cool breath.
My lower lip quivered again.
I felt his lips brush against mine slowly and he slowly backed away.
I opened my eyes, breathless.
"Sorry, you smell to good." I could tell he was breathless too.
I laughed, our lips touched for like 2 seconds and here we are breathing like we were out of breath.
I was flushed.
"Ben! Mom wants you home...Now!" Alishia called.
That's why he cut it short!
Max was right behind her.
"Alright! Coming!" Ben said and lifted me on his back.
"You..." He whispered to me.
You? you what? I thought for a minute, then it came to me, 'You know what I love?'
I smiled, He loved...me!
