The main character will be female, Japanese, and the story currently starts when she's a lieutenant [This may change to an earlier rank.].
<I>Hesperus</I> will be a space station of some sort, preferably somewhere near border space.
Somewhere along the way, there will be a lost ship and a lost soul.
The story will be begin at a music concert; the date is up in the air.
