His eyes pierce my heart
I get up and smile
And I imagine his mouth on mine
His lips poison my very soul
My blood turns to ice when I see him
As the sun sets behind him
He shows who he really is
His skin is cold to the touch
His eyes glow and burn
When he smiles my heart just melts.
With every touch he makes me feel alive
And yet he also makes me feel dead
When his fingers travel across my lips
I feel the deadness in them
When he lightly breathes on my neck
It feels like a dead breeze in the air
I feel his mouth close around my neck
All I think of is the happiness he fills me.
I feel the teeth sink in
I cringe and then stop
I feel my blood streaming down my neck
He softly whispers
“Now we will be together forever”
Falling to the ground limp
I ask him what he did
He says he made me immortal
So we could be together forever
As he smiles I drift into a sleep
I wake with a hunger that cannot be quenched
He is there with me
In the corner I see something move
He tells me to eat
I look at him and then I pounce
Like a rabid animal
I tear at the neck and drink the blood
I look up and he smiles
I turn my head back and realize what I have just done
He says it will fade with time and not to worry
“As long as I am with you, nothing can ever be bad"
