Another Fantasy Based Poem, that I must say isn't the best.
Note: "Reaper's Song" and "Vampire Kiss" is inspired by two really amazing poems by Thorthelordofawesomeness. Suicide Note is...well, really horrible. sweatdrop So I wont be posting it on my journal. Maybe if I perfect it. But thats highly doubtful. It's really bad. cry
Well, here it is:
Reaper's Song
By Samantha Diane Miko.
We all sign the contract
of death as we are
born, we may not know
when or how we did, but
the reaper commands us to.
We are at his clutches
day and night,
through each new day, and we may not know...
our life is rapidly being
ticked away...
Our smiles and laughs,
are meaningless 'cuz in the
end, we are all shattered with
bloodshed, abd dissapointment;
death.
The reaper's Song
has a new measure added
everyday as another child
dies and taken with the commitment
of sin and prayer.
But who knows,
when we die, our
signed contract burns and
we then are
reincarnated, but the
reaper and his song
continues, despite his
loss.
His song:
filled with laughter as we die
in agony and tears...
The reaper's song commands
us all, and who are we
ti fight it when
the reaper takes
each new passing day, minute,
hour, second, year, month
week, and bends and
twists our love and life
into dissapointment and death
in the end, we are all
commanded by the
Reaper's Song.
***Reincarnation isn't my belief. Just FYI. I believe in God and Heaven. I am NOT an atheisist. Reincarnation just felt to me like it fitted in the piece. Thank you!***
