Breac's journal about life in and out of her coop. Starring Chickens, turkeys, and the occasional goose.
New Goose
So as I was feeding the chickens today, Dad pops his head in and tells me to come look at something. So I go down near the turkey coop and Dad hands me his binoculars and says "There's a goose down there that isn't wild, but it's grey." I ask him if it's on of Lucy's and he says Lucy's group is down by the pond. So I look through the binoculars and I see it near the barn. It's a toulouse. So I go up to Tom and ask him if he knows it's there. He says that an acquaintance of his had it, but couldn't keep it, so he gave it to Tom. It has name, but Tom forgot what it was. Tom said she was raised in a backyard and was somewhat tame. So I find her in the horse corral and approach her, but she runs away. I walk after her and she runs into a fence, so I scoop her up and pull her out. She calmed down once I held her. I took her down to dad so I could get a picture taken.
The turkeys stopped being snuggly again, and nothing new is happening with the chickens.
