So, I think I've got shin splints on my right foot.
It hurts.
My foot is now on ice when I'm not gonna be on it, or have some sort of medecine on it for school.
It's right where my foot connects to my shin.
I can't bend it very well.
Ouch.
But my day did have one good thing in it. I got a note:
Psst! When you get home turn to page 264 in your orange book.
So I get home. Find my orange book. [The literature book] I turn to page 264, to reveal a picture....the sweetest little picture I've seen in a while.
It was a green circle, with a boy and a girl, with I LOVE YOU written right in the middle of the picture. The caption underneath read:
Mary-Kate, age 7, drew this on the lid of a can as part of her project to get better.
I fell in love with it. It was beautiful. It made me feel so much better. My foot stopped hurting some, and my heart just lifted up so nicely. I felt kinda warm and fuzzy, then snapped back into reality. It wasn't anything special. It was from one of my friends. They did it to make me feel better.
They don't really love me, they just wanted me to stop complaining about how bad my foot hurts.
That's what it was.
