And so here she is again. Opening her eyes, in the same clearing as the other times. She sat up and looked around, the clearing seemed to have gotten just as wide and quiet.
She stood up. The blood immediately rushed out of her head, causing a light feeling. She fell back down, her head hurt. She reached her hand back and touched the spot on her head where it hurt. It stung like mad. Looking back at her hand, she saw her fingers had smeared blood on it. Her mouth felt numb from her attempt to scream.
"We should go ahead and kill her right now." A voice started up. "But her eyes are so lovely!" A voice argued back. She just layed there, holding her breath, hoping they wouldn't see her. "Does she know before I met her I have only dreamt of so much blood? So why is she tempting me? Can you see the visions of pain?" The voice replied back to the second. "How could I? Is that possible?" The second voice said in an astonished tone. "You must give her to me!" The first voice shouted. No! You can't have me! she screamed inside her mind. The voices stopped. Where am I? she asked, hoping for an answer. "'Tis to a murderer's den you have come." The second voice responded.
She got up and looked around. "Something in this empty room is telling me that I should run!" The voice tried to guide her. She took the hint and began to run. Her head throbbed with excruciating pain. She ignored it the best she could and continued running farther and farther away from the clearing. "What have we done? We got too attached!" The voices were following her. She could hear the running behind her. She didn't dare look back, for it would slow her down. "We can't let her escape! We let her escape!" The first voice screamed angrily.
"This is the last time we ever have to speak again!" "She is no longer yours!" "We can't let her escape!" "She's all mine!"
She ran faster and faster. She didn't know where she was going, but she ran. "You shouldn't have brought us! You shouldn't have hurt us! You have not one clue what you've started but trust me you'll know when I'm finished!" The voice cried out to her. Then, it was quiet.
She stopped to catch her breath and look around. Everything looked the same, there was no way of knowing where she was. The footsteps started again. She heard them close and started off again. "You'd better run faster than that." the voice called out. They were gaining on her. "Don't you dare turn around...Hold on as tight as you can!" the voice choked out. The words were encouraging, but why? Why did the voice decide to help her? She ran and ran. The wind in her face generated tears to fall. She was so tired, but she couldn't stop running. "There's no time for tears...run till you can't feel your legs!"
And on she went. She suddenly had to stop. The voices ran her to the edge of a cliff. They weren't helping me at all! They were just bringing me to the cliff to....to....kill me!! She turned around to see two big shadows on the trees. Not a figure to be seen, only the shadows approaching her. She turned back to look at the cliff. There was no bottom that she knew of, it was too dark. All she saw were jagged ends that the moonlight had cast a shadow upon.
"Look who's laughing now!" the voices screeched. Before she could turn around to see she felt something push against her back.
And down she went.
