After almost a month of checking on her, giving her water and some broths with herbs her eyes flutered open... She saw the man sitting in the chair by the fire and the grogyness started to fade.
"wh..where am I?" I asked slightly disoriented, as I tried to move my body felt lighter than before and yet strange.
"Be still Lady Elf for you have be sleeping and healing for a months time. I brought you here after, I cleaned and dressed your wounds", he said.
"Wh...Why? I know.ww you not. I..I am a Daark Elf! I wwhould shhow
yyouuu no pity." I said mind racing and stuggleing for my human speach
was limited, and I stuggled with there pernounceation. My head was pounding
"Well, that is what a monk dose to those who need help. Do you have a name Lady Elf?" He asked with curiosity in his gase, I could tell he was mesuring me.
"I am called Verina" I was thought hard about reveling my full name then I thought I have no reason to hold to life so I feared nothing, and figured I had nothing to lose why not tell the truth.I did owe him that much. "Verina Do'Urden"
"Do'Urden? any relation to a Drizzt Do'Urden? And if I may what were you doing laying out there in that cave alone,what happened?" He asked now fasinated.
"A long tale and mistake I fear, one I wish I whould have died from. Tell me, How is it you know of my Brother? Where is this place?" He looked at me strangely as if he were choosing the words to say.
"Verina...right?" He paused long enough for me to nod." I know of your brother threw his explotes, and deeds. And from that I can know his character and very much doubt he would want to you Die"
I knew not the words to say in my reply, starting to get frustrated with my limited knowledge. I then remembered a Spell, that didn't appeal when it was intoduced but now would serve me well. I chanted in my head and gased at the man, when our eyes locked, his body, was under my control. I then comanded he come to the bed and was already for what I must do....I kissed the man xp . After a few moments I pulled away alittle sickened but now I could speak and understand the language. I also then released him. However I was unprepared for his next actions, as he started to pray and chant... then i realized that I had to tread carfully for monk must be prist of sorts and prists in general can hold power. I made no move to do anything else other then sitting and waiting for him to speak first, I didn't wait
long.
"What the hell did you do to me? Dark enchantress!?!", He yelled , while
giving himself a once over. Never dropping his guard. " I comand you by
all that is holy to answer me with the truth or your life be forfit here and now."
"I simply was going about answering you last question, only realizing I lack the word nessasary, so I did the only thing I could, I ubtained the words. You wish to know, monk, why I wish to die and why I feel my Brother would wish it so? I was in that cave and injured by my brother. I tried to kill him for Lolth. I wish to die because I hate what I have done and become. I have killed my father, attempted to kill my brother, and was abandon by the very god I served my hole life! I have lost everything! What O wise monk do i have left to live for?", I turned all my new found rage at the man. I also realized that I was feeling strange. I demanded this self rightouse man's answer.
