They continued walking forward and made a few turns. “how long have you been planning this?” and all that was heard was Nikki laughing quietly almost as if it was just to herself.
When nikki stopped Volroc finally heard some water pouring down. “can I take this off yet?” He said putting his hands on the blindfold about to pull it off that’s when nikki stopped in before he was just about to uncover his eyes. “why cant I see where I am” he said sounding annoyed enough.
A minute of walking went by and the water kept getting louder till they came to a complete stop. Nikki grabbed the blindfold and untied it so he could see where they were. When he opened his eyes he saw the same waterfall they met at exactly a year ago starting that day. “this is where we first met, it was right there in the water I found you inured from an attack. And I took you out of the water and healed you.” He said smiling at the memory of them.
Next thing they know nikki pushes Volroc into the water and starts laughing. “yep and if I remember correctly back then it was only you and me” She said looking at him while still laughing as I swam in the water fully dressed.
Nikki got closer to the water to tell him something when all of a sudden he grabbed her hand and pulled her in. “yes I do remember” he said as they both began to laugh more. Water was beginning to get splashed around giving all the grass around plenty of water.
When nikki stopped and looked towards the waterfall she saw something shiny just hanging their by a string “I wonder what that is” she said walking away from where she was standing to get a closer look and of course Volroc had to follow her.
“what is it?” She heard him whisper from behind her. Then she just stood their and looked at it. I’ve seen it before she thought to herself quietly. Was it in a dream? she thought as she continued to look at the item shaped key. Without any thought about it she started moving towards it while reaching her arm up to see if she could grab it.
While she wasn’t paying attention Volroc got in her way and made her stop in her place. “oh no you don’t” he said with his hand up trying to get her to stop. “remember the last time you were looking at something you thought you recognized then almost getting us killed” he said bringing up the one time in the cave where she was looking at an amulet that had unspeakable powers in its possession.
“Oh come on, please” she said and gave him the look that anyone would just melt over and the main reason why she always got her way with everyone she met.
He took his hand and covered her eyes even though he knew she was still begging. “fine but im going with you” he said knowing he would regret it later as she hugged him for getting her way yet again.
