Hello there, if you're reading this, that is. This is my first journal entry! How exciting! My 6 year Gaiaversary is coming up in February, and all that time passed without me ever writing a journal! I suppose it's because nothing much exciting went on in my life, considering I was in middle school when I first started Gaia, and all that happened was drama.
Anyway, now that I'm older, I'll have half-decent things to talk about I guess n__n I guess the first thing I want to talk about is how much I love the GCD. I am so glad I made my way into that forum, even if it was a little intimidating, because I have made so many great friends within the few months I've been there. That really makes me happy :'D
As you know, I am a huge Brennivin fan, and despite some rumors, I was the first, and have a few people backing me up on that. I have been working hard for the past couple months to try and obtain an SDPlus #100 Brennivin doll. Twice I came very close to getting one but my plans always got foiled >_<" Then, like a miracle, my wonderful friend Hi-Potion pointed a Brennivin seller in my direction, and she was SO sweet and kind to talk to! She gave me one hell of a deal on that doll, I tell you. I got him for exactly 5 million! Granted, I sold everything I had, leaving me with the clothes on my back, but I don't mind, because it's actually kind of fun starting over and questing things again. I just need to re-train myself not to check the marketplace obsessively to see what I can buy n__n;; because 10k wont get you much haha.
So far this Christmas has been a really nice one. I like the event a lot; It gave me a chance to get rid of all the s**t that was cluttering up my invo, and I gained some gold out of it. I also donated 30k, and I don't know why I did that, because I'm pretty sure the gold sink wasn't targeted for poor Gaians like myself xD Actually, I take that back, I'm not poor, because I am rich in friends and the love I feel when I'm on Gaia ;3
My favorite thing about the GCD was how I got involved in Brennivin's fanthread, and made some amazing friends there. Murashi, Layrion, and Scullylam, all wonderful people and so nice to talk to. It's so exciting to have that 'close-knit' feeling on Gaia again, because it's something I haven't felt since waaaay back when I started, and there were so many less people here.
Anyway, I've gone on for too long, and I'll probably write again soon. My kitten is meowing and I'm going to make some pizza. Yay! n__n everyone have a nice day! <3
