"We are ready to speak to the council" They both said at the same time, looking for the private room. "Ah, this way" Said a young man, leading them to one of many private rooms. "It will just be you two and the Council." They went into the room and the door was shut behind them. It was a smaller room, with candles like the last one. "Ah, I am glad you are here, sit down. We have much to discuss." Said one of the council members, showing them where to sit.
More~`
It was daylight out, around noon time and a man sat alone on a ledge on the outskirts of town. He was in his mid twenties and he wore a black T-shirt with blue jeans. He looked like any ordinary guy, except for the fact that he had a tail. The mans name was Reinoku, but he liked to go by Rein.
Rein got up and looked around, and then walked into town. The town was called Shina, it was a quiet town and it didn't have many people. It had a couple of Inns for any visitors, though they didn't get many. Rein walked toward his house. He was about to open the door when his father came out.
"Where have you been?" his father yelled, "I've been looking all over for you!!! Don't you relize training is today?"
"It's today?" Rein said in alarm, "I gotta go!! Move it pops!!" and Rein ran into the house and grabbed his sword and took off to the empty field in the middle of town.
His teacher was waiting for him in the field. "Rein, why are you always so late?" His teacher asked.
"I lose track of time...." Rein said. The teacher shook his head dissaprovingly.
"Rein, you're always losing track of time these days. What am I going to do with a student whose always late?"
"I don't know, but I might be leaving home soon so I might have to leave training." Rein said.
"Leaving home eh? Does your father know?" The teacher asked.
"I have to tell him when I get home, he might be mad though."
"Ah, too much talking, lets get on with training!" The teacher said. So they trained for the usual two hours and then Rein walked home.
When Rein got back it was dinner time. He ate his food quietly and when he was done he got up and went into his room and packed. He thought it was better that way that his father knew he already packed so he would have to let Rein leave. Rein finished packing and went down to his father.
"Pop, can I leave home and explore?" Rein asked politely, not wanting to make his father mad.
"Gee, I don't know Rein, you've been slacking off lately. But I guess you can go, I know you would have sneaked out anyways." His father looked at him accusingly.
