It took only a minute. I was hooked. A wink and a laugh and I was caught. He smiled and lied. I didn't know where it would go. We talked for hours. "I love you." I said. Where did that come from? He didn't seem to mind. He spit the words back out at me. My heart came before my mind. Foolishness was forgotten as I flirted with a stranger. It was harmless, right? No, not even close. I got hurt. Abandoned. I got tricked. Deceived. I became the stupid fool. How could I think for even a second , that I could be loved by a stranger? He didnt even know me. Now here I sit, wasting my tears on someone who doesnt give a damn.
