Because my Word has no Spell Check.
The forest was a thick mass of trees and brush. The sun came down in dapples, painting patches of the ground in dapples of warm light. There were different shades of green, the lighting getting darker as the forest got deeper. Somehow, the place still felt peaceful. There was a clearing, with a moss covered log near a small pond. Light glistened off the water, and a creek led away deeper into the trees, patches of light hitting it occasionally, sending beams of light bouncing off small ripples the creek produced as it moved. Lilies floated on the clear water's surface. Strangely, there was almost no wildlife, and the few that were there were birds. They didn't make a single sound, as if waiting for something.
Behind the log was a large, dark, swirling portal that seemed to suck the colours and sound out of where it floated. Two lean figures sat on the log, facing the pond. They stood out like colour in a 1940's photograph. One sat with his legs sprawled out in front of him, a frown on his face. Th other sat feet flat on the ground, elbows on his knees and head tilted down in concentration, as if he were downloading something directly into his brain. Mr. Frown's skin was pure black, the others pure white. their eyes had three rings around the irides, neon colours matching their outlandish hair. If you looked into their eyes, you could tell they were highly intelligent, and dangerous.
The one with black skin stood up, a long fingered hand placed on his slender hips. He was tall, and his long hair reached to his unclothed shoulder blades. His hair was made up of neon orange, green and yellow checkers. He had neon green low-rise skinny jeans, and all over his body were neon polka-dot markings of various colours. Protruding from his back, around the area of his shoulder blades, were black low-rise demonic wings that remained unmarked. He looked over at the white skinned young man who looked like he was zoned out, a smart-ash smirk plastered on his face. Mr. White-Out had neon blue and gray diagonal stripes in his hair, and his markings were plain neon purple streaks running down and across his body. He too was shirtless, clothed in only black cargo jeans, a stark contrast against his white skin. His white wings matched the others' black. The tall one sighed.
"Shall we get started, Jibril? I want to get out of here." His frown deepened as he viewed forest around him. this place was too colourful, too nice.
"Sure, have the list. Calm down, Yaseen, we're only collecting a thousand each today." The white one, Jibril, stood up also. He was a bi shorter than Yaseen, and his hair was short too, coming down to the nape of hi neck. Yaseen grinned.
"Only a thousand? I hope we don't starve to life." Jibril smirked at Yeseen's comment, and then they both laughed, causing the the few birds that were left to scatter in fright. They stretched out their wings, which at first seemed small, but were now about six feet in length and four feet in height. They both sighed, as if they had released a lot of stress. "Well, let's be going then." Jibril said, and Yaseen nodded. They quickly took to the trees, and breaking through the tops, headed for a small town that was located at the rim of the forest's outline.
"So, who's first?" Asked Yaseen, and Jibril closed his eyes, soon, they flashed open, and Jibrils voice sounded almost automatic.
"Atticus Stevens. Age 27. Reason for death, his soul was sold to The Man by his parents at a young age. Cause of death, heart malfunction. Time of death, 3 minutes from now."
