╄━ General Information ━╃ ▌: Soren Lolek : ▌Gender: Male ▌Age: 15 ▌Species: Human
▌Appearance: A stray dog? A ravaged animal? A mouse? NO! Its Soren Lolek! Scrawny and boney, Soren weighs about 100lbs wet but he's not a push over by any means. His body is always like a tightly wound wire, snapping when you least expect it and always moving like he's on something. His layers of clothes hide a physique that is bone and muscle and nearly nothing else. A slender face appears anorexic because of his large blue/green eyes that are constantly darting about. His hair and skin are nearly the same color with his skin only a shade darker. His hands are the most interesting part of his body, long and spindly, always picking things up and putting them down or making them into things. He's generally wearing tights of varying stripes and short over sized boots that have little buckles on them. He wears a ribbed turtle neck, short bloomer like shorts with shredded ends. Over that, he has a long multi layered coat with long sleeves and even longer coat tails. His hair is kind of tamed back by a headband made from left over pieces of clothe that wouldn't fit on his coat.
╄━ Weapon/Fighting Information ━╃ ▌Weapons: Pair of long silver scissors sharpened to the same edge as a knife. Leather grips. Blades are about 3ftlong and 5inches thick and fit in a sheath at his side, hidden under his coat. ▌Fighting Style: Free Parkour (a mixture of free running and parkour turned into a martial arts fighting style) ▌Abilities/Powers: (limitations and weaknesses must be included in the description) ▬ Spacial Deflection & Manipulation Soren calls it his 'magic fingers' trick. By concentrating on the air, he can pull it into a dense configuration of varying sizes and put it anywhere within 7ft of his body and as he moves, it moves with him. Despite that, its perfectly useless against other humans who can pass through it with relative ease. Reveries can generally whack at it to their hearts content without breaking through though after some time (5posts of consistent whack-a-moling) it will start to crumble a bit. As this is its primary reason for use, Nocturnals cannot penetrate it at all. H O W E V E R. The shields last only so long depending on size. Large shields only hold for about a day (6post), medium shields about 12hours (3posts) and the smallest shields only an hour at a time(1post). The ability comes from Soren's constant aggitation and energy as a manifestation of his consistent state of panic, in a word.
▬ Dream Weaver While he dislikes the term 'seamstress' Soren fully embraces his power as a seamstress of dreams and nightmares. He can create or weave dreams out of reality. Using his imagination and manipulating the events in them, he weaves them into the shape of clothe squares using a pair of scissors and an empty silver spool. The dreams he creates leak from his fingers as he spins the spool between his hands, becoming a light thread. They are silver and bright if they are dreams...gray and dark if they are nightmares. He keeps the squares safe in his coat, hidden from eyes as he works on some kind of tapestry or quilt. Its unclear what he does with the dreams or nightmares he doesn't keep. Its rumored that he sells them to keep Nocturnals at bay.
╄━ Biography ━╃ ▌ Before the Sleep Not much about Soren is known before he woke. Child of a single and abusive father, he never really committed anything to memory. He lived on the streets for some time and sneaking home only to sleep. It was during one of these that he just...didn't wake up.
Dreams Or Rather...Nightmares A bleak world of drab browns and blacks, tans and creams that blurred together in a swirling mess of half formed buildings and rolling streets. Constant thunderstorms in the same drab colors and gray forms with no shape. Soren wandered without purpose in this maddening world, going into action only when the gray forms attacked him. They would surge suddenly in number and size, rising to tower over the city and chase him from one end to the other. Endless running in a world where everything was the same. It drove him insane. At one point, he stopped running and, in a fit of pure exhaustion, threw his hands up as the gray form went to attack him. Instead of doing whatever it wanted to do to him, the form gave a sliver of a scream and was sucked into his fingers. Intrigued with this new way of defending himself, Soren went about doing the same to the rest of the gray forms. Now, without the forms around to bother him, he began trying to find things to do. He noticed that pulling at the buildings would almost unravel them into string. A notorious weaver when he was awake, he now began to make clothing out of his strange dream world, unraveling more and more of it as he worked to create clothing and simply to have something to do. As the world began to end and blackness took over his mind, Soren started to notice that little lights were appearing. Following these, he woke to a much stranger and more brutal world then the one he'd fallen asleep to.
This Is the Wrong World His first thought when he woke was that he was wearing the clothes he'd dreamed he'd created. Good thing too since he loved those clothes! The second thing he noticed was the large and very scary thing in the room with him. A nocturnal that, surprised at having its possible meal interrupted, was a little slow in reacting. Soren threw up a shield and ran, barely noticing that the shield protected him from the nocturnal's attempts to catch him. It wasn't until he'd run into a few more of them that he began to see what he was capable of.
