To normal eyes, the forest's impenetrable darkness at nighttime was impossible to see through. No natural abilities nor manmade tools could overcome it's density which made nighttime the most dangerous time of the night for most creatures. Especially when most of the creatures that dwelt within did not rely solely on their sight to help them find their meals. The woman who walked through though appeared to have no problem navigating the brush of the terrain. A woman in a long, flowing white gown had appeared to her in a dream and whispered mystical words that were beyond her mortal comprehension, but had pressed onto her the idea that a stroll through the forest was of the utmost importance. Ordinarily, any one would deny but the beauty of the woman and the magic in her words had been too much for her to refuse. A winding path that seemed to be made out of stars lit the way for the woman as she carefully stepped over logs and rotated her hips to squeeze through the narrow spaces between shrubs.
It seemed no more than a few minutes since she had left her apartment on the edge of town that the woman arrived at the mouth of a cave. The ominous air made her hesitate at the entrance, her eyes looking back longingly for her warm bed. One small pulse of life in the trail refocused her attention on the mission at hand though and summoning her courage, she continued into the cave where there lay a pool of water with a waterfall cascading from the side of the cave into the water. It had to be at least twenty feet in diameter and deep enough for the woman to just barely submerge herself. What was truly special about it though was that the entire basin seemed to be a perfect replica of the night sky when it was perfectly cloudless. Curious and enchanted by it's beauty, the woman knelt down by the edge, leaning over the side to get a better look.
