User Image((First off, I would like to apologize for the size of this picture. I would resize it on photobucket but I don't know how and I don't want to make it too small or even bigger and so I am in quite a perdicament here. On a roleplaying note, if you want to roleplay with me, PM me and we can either do this story or just about any other. I am open to most ideas and would love to hear yours.))

The citizens of Cairo, Egypt were the first to witness the phenomenon of a falling star in records of the past. They believed it was their god sending a divine message to his subjects about impending doom which he or natural forces would put upon them. The fear of this heavenly object kept many at bay but the Pharaoh thought that to ignore such a gift would bring his people to even greater ruin than their gods prophesied. He sent out his most loyal soldiers to reclaim the message and bring it back to his palace where he could thoroughly examine it along with his priests. When the soldiers arrived though they did not find the object which everyone had bared witness to falling from the blanket of stars and planets, but a girl with sand white skin and hair the color of the river of which they depended on. The sight of the girl struck the soldiers as priceless and beyond comprehension and rather than bring her back to the palace where she could be tortured upon awakening, they stole her unconscious body away to a nearby village with the relatives of one of the soldiers and returned to their Pharaoh empty-handed, saying that a messenger of the gods had carried away the vessel as a test of the Pharaoh's capability to solve his own problems. When the soldiers returned to their sleeping beauty, they made an order in her honor. To protect her from all harm until she would awaken, deep down knowing that she would help Egypt or even the world when that time came.

Centuries later and there are the delights of modern civilization. Cars, computers, cell phone, and other bewitching objects. The young girl that had been found in ancient Egypt though was still in a catatonic state, incapable of movement or sound. Her order had eventually dwindled but they passed her along through the generations, eventually stowing her in a secret cellar when it became clear that anyone who found her would seize her in the name of science or medicine. It was already clear that she was not apart of their culture and it would be too difficult to make up a story for any of the many archaeologists or Red Cross members that dropped by. It was on one dry, and dusty day though that the family came down to fetch some extra supplies when they noticed her garnished table was vacant. There was no sign of the woman anywhere. The only sign of her ever existing was a single jewel, nearly the size of one's fist. Payment in full for her stay.

No name. No purpose. Nothing but a feeling in her gut. The woman knew that she was supposed to do something but she felt as if she were out of place or, perhaps, out of time. There was something deeply wrong with the world and she had a growing sense that whatever was causing her such irritation could sense her presence just as clearly. One thing that the woman did know though was that she had to start moving. Find the source or find some help, whichever was best for her troubling situation. And she was also aware that she had some kind of power. Maybe a few but she had wished herself to be away from the room she had been in and then she had been in a heavily forested area with creatures twittering and flying all about as if they had no care in the world. This was a place that she felt much more at home at and walking barefoot through the new terrain she eventually sat herself down at the edge of a pool and dipped her feet in, a sigh of relief passing through her lips as it soothed her spirit.
