Lights, camera...action!
The three magic words, as Roxy liked to call them. It was in that single instant that the last syllable flew off the director's lips in a spray of excited spit and nervous lip-licking that she transformed into her other self: Winter Hallendai, government-employed and created superhero to protect the people of the world from robots, biological weaponry, and any other threat that the writer's came up with. The role had originally been meant for a twenty-something year old blond with enormous breasts but when Roxy had auditioned for the role at fourteen, the director had been so captured by her portrayal of his character and the potential of a new face in Hollywood that the entire script was reworked and Roxy was cast as the lead character. Seeing at the main heroine was only fourteen years of age, for the first two seasons only pre-teen to teenage girls would watch the show. It was much to the show's advantage though that Roxy was quickly developing into a beautiful and well-figured young woman and the show was gathering a considerable amount of 'buzz' on the internet. Before the launch of season three, Roxy had three fan websites and people were roleplaying online as her character. Sometimes in the least appropriate of ways but even that Roxy found flattering. The first episode of her third season had a total of twenty million viewers. Not one person in the business was not left with their jaw on the ground. Roxy was suddenly everywhere. Magazine covers, television, the radio, in children toy chests. Winter had also become a household name and was estimated to be the fifteenth most popular name by season five. At nineteen years old, Roxy should have been attending her second year of college and thinking about her future but she had found her place and loved every moment in the spotlight. People adored her and she was anticipating the release of a blockbuster hit that was to premiere in movie theaters worldwide, critics already raving about her acting prowess and the bright future that she had in store. Most people said that it was a miracle that Roxy had not succumbed to the temptations of the life of a childhood celebrity but Roxy never thought it that peculiar. She had encountered such people before on numerous occasions and felt no amount of pity for their lack of respect for their profession and lack of self-control.
Which was the title of the episode they were currently filming, oddly enough. Winter Hallendai was re-encountering an old foe. A very attractive foe at that. Roxy was not naive enough to believe that all the people who watched her show were there for the story so she found no issue in flaunting the female form to attract viewers. It was all in the name of business. Dressed in a grunge-styled jacket, a swimsuit top, and shorts Winter was supposed to be giving a speech about the integrity about mankind and the love she held for her rival because they were opponents. It was then choreographed by their superb stuntmen that a car would be thrown by the rival's brute strength and Winter would ever so gracefully flip backwards and land in a dramatic pose on top of one of the pillars nearby. Before Winter could even speak one word of her monologue to her supporting actress though, the car came hurtling at her. Roxy's lips were frozen open and she watched as if in slow motion as the car came spinning towards her. They had rehearsed this one million times but the crew was probably less prepared than she was for the real thing to happen and Roxy could only stare in horror as her life flashed before her eyes. Naturally though, she tried to protect herself. Somewhere in her subconscious she knew that it was hopeless but as the car came at her she threw out her arm to halt the collision. As the metal made contact with her hand she expected the fierce pain of bones crushing and skin ripping apart but the metal actually began to crumple and to no effect to her hand whatsoever. The force the car had been thrown at sent it flipping over her head from the force of impact to her fist and landed on it's hood on the opposite side of Roxy. The entire set was dead silent, trying to conceive what had just happened. Despite it happening to her, Roxy was the first to come back to reality. Silently she slipped out of her harness and numbly walked off stage, locking herself away in her dressing room.

Most of the people surmised that someone back stage had pulled a perverse prank on all of them and for whatever reason made a car out of aluminum or some kind of special alloy to make it seem like Roxy really had some kind of superpower. Roxy knew the truth though. She had had a sample of the car's metal tested to see if it was genuine and it came back positive. Someone had been trying to prove a point to themselves. Someone knew something about her without even herself knowing about it. Roxy tossed and turned for weeks, attending only half of her debut major film performance before returning home to think on it some more. She still managed to deliver her same brilliant work and according to her parents the money made from her movie was bringing in enormous sums of money but she hardly seemed to care. Roxy was afraid to test to see if she truly did have some kind of power but her curiosity was growing exponentially each day. No more than a week later she felt as if she were going to explode and every interruption seemed to put her on edge. "Miss Rietell?" The nervous voice of a new assistant brought Roxy close to the edge and she could feel her agitation piercing the assistant though it was honestly no fault of her employee's for doing her job. "A phone call for you in your dressing room." The cast was taking an hour break for lunch and sighing as she had been waiting in line for her sandwich for nearly twenty already she abandoned her place and rushed to her room where she sat down heavily in her chair and picked up the phone.
"Hello, Miss Roxy Rietell speaking. May I help you?"
