What makes your life more meaningful than anyone else's?
Those Gods of Olympus were deemed Myths, so why is your God better?
Why is your religion better? What makes it more valid?
What makes it real? I keep asking these questions to no avail.
What is it? It is what a crazed man came up with to cheer up his people.
To give them something to look up to, to give them hope.
What is it? It is simply an excuse. Something to thank for the good things that happen and something to blame for the bad.
You got a raise? God's work. You totes deserve it, you talked to yourself every night.
Your friend got killed? Divine punishment. He wasn't worthy.
Religion is at its most basic sense, mass delusion.
Everything always comes into place at the end because God's plan is everything.
A God that allows random people to shoot up schools, kill hundreds of innocents, millions even, if you get out of your American bubble and look outside the U.S.
A lie. The greatest lie of all. Humans love finding meaning in everything, even when there isn't one. A storybook written by a random old man somehow turned into the guiding light of all humanity. Ahh~

What is rape? Why, it's a test, one of God's many tests.
What is being killed by a school shooter at 8 years old? One of God's tests.
Death, disease, war, pain, suffering, all of despair.. God's tests, right?
How a perfectly innocent person deserves to be shot and killed or worse is beyond me but hey, it's all part of God's plan. Right? That's all, it's all it is.
