- I used an online drawing site to do this. No advanced tools, just a simple pen tool, and color picker

- The way you swirled the clouds is pretty cool, it gives it not only a "painted" look, but a "realistic feel" as well. The tree top is well done too, I like the fine detail in that. Even the character itself is pretty good, a little sketchy, but nothing too severe. Very nice.
