- Description: This could go in my scrap area, since it was only a step along the way of an older commission of mine, but I like the way it looks, so I thought I would post it anyway. This later became the portrait titled "Ellie". The method I used to paint the dog was to create a silhouette first, then add details later. The red paint underneath was still wet as I added the yellow umber. Same dimensions as "Ellie" of course. Oils on linen canvas, (c) 2006 Arran Walker.
