Materials: Sketched by hand, finished in Photoshop CS
The wolf took forever to do with the head and mane, but the rest of the picture was fairly fast. I did less detail on the bird because I wanted it to more symbolic than anything (still took a while).
Each fur clump on the wolf was individually colored and shaded. The text says "phoenix" in Greek.
This is one of my favorite vector works. It was my first mix of vectors and gradient shading. - Date: 03/13/2009
