- This picture has a lot of potential. When I paractice drawing hands I draw with my dominant hand and draw my other hand in lots of different poses in one sitting. It really helps get your measurements down. For example, notice the size of the thumb in comparison to the rest of the fingers. The thumb is one of the shortest, yet most important, digits on the human hand. Still very good for just a sketch on lined paper. 5/5
