4. the background is more colourful than the character - stealing the spotlight. it's also rendered somewhat - but without clear purpose - and that adds to the feeling of it being half-done.

since you've asked for crits...
1. several animals are mixed here, and not necessarily on purpose - a.i. different proportions of body parts.
2. some issues with light and shadow. (no clear direction of where the light is coming from.
3. the same technique is used to render both the closer areas of the fur and the further. this is made worse by the ears not being rendered at all. normally, the close areas should be more detailed than the further ones, creating an illusion of distance. - Report As Spam
