Our neighbor had found this baby squirrel by it's mother who had been hit by a car. She decided that since my mother had raised two squirrels previously, that she could give it a good home.
(We no longer keep her as a pet, but have released her back into the wild. We do see her occasionally and she comes sometimes when we call her and offer food, but for the most part she's a wild squirrel again) - Date: 09/03/2008
