Long ago, there lived a dragon of the name IceStar. A young and powerful ice dragon and wise beyond her years. One day when she was home, she heard this whistle in the wind, then it got louder and louder, then there was an explosion and flames came. All the ice dragons tried to fly away, but these flames were from fire dragons and people were riding them. They captured almost all the ice dragons, some got away only to be hurt by the lost of their loved ones. IceStar saw her mother get captured, IceStar left her mother though, because she knew her mother would be okay. Her mother always said,"If I die, I will watch you from the stars." IceStar was worried about her mother even though she remembered what her mother had said to her. Still, Icestar longed for her mothers warm touch on her scaly face.
IceStar went with the others, who lived through the horrible attack on the village. There was only four in the group that made it out alive including IceStar. The male that was leading them, was Glasere. He was the strongest of the clan and had killed a good number of the fire dragons and their riders. Glasere had seen IceStar's mother being taken away, he tried to free her, but one of the dragon riders came up behind him and hit him so hard that he fall unconscious.
They were now traveling in the forest. They have been traveling for awhile now, when Glasere saw something. Glasere stopped and so did the others, one of them said, "What is it, Glasere?" It was a human, by the looks of it. She was hurt pretty bad, Glasere looked at the girl and walked on. He ordered the others to do the same, but one didn't. IceStar shook her head in confusion and looked at Glasere, "We can't just leave her here, shes hurt and needs food." Glasere looked at IceStar with a cold stare, his pride boiling, "WHAT?!" His voice boomed over every living creature int he forest, "You want us to help her, look at what her clan did to us! No, we are leaving her." IceStar stood her ground, even though she was scared to death of Glasere, but she found the courage to make her voice stop shaking, "We will not leave her! If we go, we are just like them! Do all of you want that?" Her voice seemed to echo with a power of its own. Th others looked around at each other and said sheepishly, "No.."
IceStar had her clan behind her, Glasere looked at the others with a cold stern face, none of them flinched. Glasere sighed, "Fine, but you will take care of her, IceStar." IceStar was happy, she walked over, lean her neck down and softly nudged the girl. The girl looked at IceStar and hugged her neck, for she heard everything.
As the days and nights went on, the girl got better and IceStar felt like she had a sister now. Glasere liked the girl as well, though he would never say anything, because he is to proud.

- Description: This is a story that I'm still working on. It is a dragon story, and usually I do wolves, or vampiric stories. If I get enough positive feedback, I'll try and finish, The Long Journey.

- It's cute! You may want to run it through spell-check to take care of some grammar issues, but it's still readable. You also might want to add more specifically 'dragon' details; think of things different animals do (birds, wolves, etc) and incorporate them into your dragon's daily lives.
