• A pair of grey eyes stared out from under the hood of a white cloak, before them laid a seemingly endless mass of green, lush tree and vegetation. From the cliff that the cloaked figure stood upon it looked quite beautiful. But, thought the figure it’s not all what it seems. And that was oh so very true. In the distance ten birds could be seen fluttering around the tree tops. The canopies shivered and before the birds could even attempt at an escape the vast jaws of a bird beast crashed through the tree tops. The creature looked more like the trees then a beast. Vines and flowers could be seen hanging from it's beak. With a quick snap the immense creature took all the birds into it's gullet.

The cloak garbed figure shivered and drew the cloak closer with thin hands of tan. The sun was just coming over the horizon and the sky was painted orange and purple. The cold from the night before still lingered and bit at the figures exposed cheeks which were the color of light bronze. "I do hope none of the beasts shall try and eat us." The voice was of female origin but it also seemed very sing-song as well. "I should go back to the camp." The woman said with a sigh before quickly turning and descending down the surface of the cliff. The cliff seemed to be attached to a much bigger piece of rock. Mountain sized for it indeed was a mountain, but the surface was covered with grass and tree roots had cracked the surface of the grey rock looking desperately for good soil and water.

The cloak bellowed around the woman's ankles and revealed her lanky but muscular figure. She had only a hint of hips and breasts. All she wore was a plain brown bodice, green leggings, and brown boots.

The woman's face was still hidden behind the hood of the silvery cloak as she jumped through the grass and on dew covered rocks. The vegetation grew thick as the woman came closer to the base of the mountain. Small noises could be heard from the animals below. A bird twitter, a squirrel scampering across the pine needles on the forest floor, and a distant roar of some creature that the woman wasn't overly eager to find.

The woman slowed as she went under the tree tops and watched her step as she went toward the heart of the forest. Underneath the trees it was dark as a result of the close growing of the trees. I do hope that the shines better later. I do hate not having the sun. The woman thought as she stared up at the dark leaves.

A raised voice could be heard from not far off. The voice also sounded female but it also sounded shrill. The woman winced slightly and then sighed. “Must they always fight? They always bring my mood down.” She mumbled as she quickened her pace. Another raised voice, this time it sounded of a male. “Must you always try and bite!” The voice was deep and boomed with a ferocious strength.

The woman let a groan escape from between her lips. Must Gore always cause such trouble? She thought trying to quicken her pace. Someone else spoke in a cool voice. “My hungers are not my fault. Just my nature.” A twinge of weakness carried into his voice. Before anyone else could utter a word the cloaked woman strode into a small clearing. The trees above separated enough to flood the clearing with sunshine and show the faces of the enraged group.

There were three in all. Two male and one female. One of the males was tall and his shoulders were broad. His eye brows were thin and angled into an arch; his eyes were a painfully bright blue that burned with great ferocity. He was garbed in nothing but a plain brown tunic, black leggings, and large black boots. His blonde hair was long and held back into a low ponytail. Next to him stood a woman with a stern face that beheld a trace of fear. Her blonde hair was pulled into a ponytail and the hair feel over her left shoulder. She held her right hand to her neck and her great white robe sleeves bunched up at her elbows. Her eyes were also of an intense blue. Identical to the man that stood next to her; if you thought about it they looked almost identical. Their noses seemed of the same structure as well as the way there faces moved. Both also had long, thin, and pale ears. Both of them had a cold cuff on their right ears.

On the opposite side of the campfire a man sat on a stump. He was a great contrast to the other two. His hair was the color of twilight and his long, pointed, white ears stabbed at the ear. His eyes were narrowed but he looked quite lazy, his eyes burned red. His skin was dusty and white looking, a great contrast to his hair. He wore a black cloak, tunic, and leggings. Around his waist was a black belt held together with a red ruby and a glitter of gold was hung from his belt. It looked as if he had a sword tied to his belt. His arms were crossed and he leaned against a tree. He looked straight at the cloaked woman’s silver figure as she stepped into the clearing.

Ah, Raziya. The scouting uneventful I assume.” Raziya pulled the hood from her face. Her eyes glittered and shone in the little sunshine and brown curled locks feel over her shoulders. She had high cheek bones but they were filled out well. Her jaw was strong but the smile in her eyes made it look less of a dangerous quality. Her nose was also slightly longer than most and elongated ears parted her curls slightly.

You are correct Gore.” Raziya said with a small nod. “However, I did see a huge bird beast that could prove to be trouble if we ever ran into it.” Raziya pulled the cloak from her shoulders which were also tanned but flecked with many white scars. Her silver eyes dimmed as she looked down at the pale man before her. “Gore have you been nipping again?” Raziya’s eyebrow’s furrowed and her eyes lost a bit of their sheen.

The man’s pale face shifted into a weak and perhaps rueful expression. He opened his mouth a fraction to speak but was cut off. “Yes the b*****d was!” Raziya turned her attention to the tall man whose shoulders were now squared and his eyes flashed. “We should just get rid of him! Why do we need him for this damn journey of yours!?” Raziya’s silver eyes just stared out him. She said not one word and kept her face in a impassive expression. For several seconds the man stared at Raziya, his face becoming more and more enraged in till he turned and yelled “Bah!”

The man stomped into the forest, leaving the camp with an awkward silence. The woman who had stood beside him stepped forward, hand still clutching her neck. “I’m sorry for his reaction. He can be so short tempered, but do you think you could try and, you know, keep him at bay.” The woman said glancing at Gore almost fearfully. “I shall do that Adora.” Raziya said quietly. Her voice was emotionless. Adora bowed her blonde head and then followed the man into the forest.

Raziya sighed and stared up at the blue sky which now had gold rays streaming thourgh it’s expanse. “Raziya..” Raziya shook her head. “I am in no mood Gore. Just don’t let me find you doing it again.” Raziya turned her head of the slightest to look at Gore. “Of course not.” Gore whispered with the look of profound shame in his eyes.

Raziya turned back and nodded. The clearing had bu a burnt out camfire and several bangs propped against a tree not far off. “At least you have all packed.” Raziya took a step torward the place were her two blonde companions had vanished. “You go find Nen I will go find Adora and the brute of a brother that she oh so loves.”

Without waiting for a reply Raziya fell into the trees dark shadows, tracing the steps of the two siblings best she could. Raziya draped the cloak she had removed back over her shoulders but left the hood down. Her eyes had reatined their luster and shone brightly even in the dark gloom of the trees.

Raziya’s boots fell onto fallen twigs and leaves making muffled crunches. Her thoughts wondered as she looked up into the canopes trying to find rays of sunlight. Gore had been quite a trouble during Raziya’s hard journey. He had tried to bite far to many times for Raziya to ignore but was the best when it came to a battle. Very cunning he was.

Kasim hates him so. Raziya thought back to the blonde bulk of an elf. His angry face made her frown. We always fight amongst ourselves no matter what I try. Raizya thought regretfully. And that was very true. Ever since her and her four other companions had started this journey it had been a big bundle of arguments. Most of the time this arguments included Gore.
Raziya stepped over tree roots with ease as she folowed faint foot steps of two. Raziya could already hear voices close by.
