    Lights up on a scene of a teenager walking into an
    apartment/house That he is sharing with his brother: NEGI.

    NEGI

    JOHN
    New York is amazing! Loads different from *Konoha.

    JOHNS cell phone rings

    JOHN
    Hello?

    FATHER
    (Weak voice)

    *Konoha: Hidden Leaf Village/JOHNS old home
    *ANBU: Special forces unit. Made up by many people whom are very mysterious.











    JOHN hangs up his phone

    JOHN
    That was Dad. He sounded weak, like he was hurt. He said the village was attacked. He said it was the ANBU.

    NEGI
    (Surprised)
    Attacked the village?!?

    JOHN
    Yeah… he said we have to do something. And to ask you instead of him.

    NEGI
    Yes, we thought it was too early for you to find out. Mom and Dad wanted you to be a normal boy. That’s why they sent you to New York. But it seems that will not be out plans anymore. We need to prepare. And to be prepared in case they come to get us too.

    JOHN
    (confused)
    What about school?!?
    NEGI
    (calm)
    You will still go to school. But will stay prepared. We never know when they will attack. Dad sent you to the academy for a few months right?

    JOHN

    Act I-Scene 3.

    [NEGI & JOHN arrive at school]

    NEGI
    Ok, John ill see you after school, meet me right here.

    JOHN
    Got it, see ya!

    [NEGI exits, CHRIS enters]

    CHRIS
    Yo! Are you new here?

    JOHN
    Yeah, I’m new here. Think you can show me around?

    CHRIS
    Sure, I’m Chris, and you are?

    JOHN
    I’m John, where’s first hour?

    CHRIS
    Should be study hall, I’ll show you, hey! You have the same class as me, sweet!

    JOHN
    Huh? I didn’t think I did, let me check my schedule my bro gave me.

    [JOHN pulls out a folded paper out of his pack]

    CHRIS

    And makes sure its empty]
    JOHN

    CHRIS
    You’re a…ninja huh? What village? What class are you?

    JOHN
    Why do you need to know? Are you one too?

    CHRIS
    Yeah, I’m a *Chuunin, from *Suna, you?

    JOHN
    Well, by rank I guess I am a Chunnin too, I’m from Konoha.

    CHRIS
    What’s your specialty? I can control a certain amount of sand.
    [CHRIS pats a pouch on his waist]

    JOHN
    Well, I’m more of a *Taijutsu kinda guy, but I can perform decent *techniques.

    CHRIS
    Well, I guess were in this together, I heard there are two other Ninja students that attend this school, both of them are Chunnin.

    JOHN
    Well, inform me.

    CHRIS
    I can only say a few things, class is about to start. The big, tough guy’s name is Brian trust me, you will know him when you see him. And the tall, quiet guy’s name is Shino.
    Brian controls *Chakra to upgrade his speed and strength loads. And Shino controls bugs.
    Lets get to class and stay low, or someone will notice you. Word travels fast here.

    *Chakra: Force that shinobi use to perform techniques.
    Act I- Scene 4.

    [JOHN and CHRIS are standing
    Outside talking quietly]

    CHRIS
    Oh, so the village was attacked?

    JOHN
    Yeah, my dad said something about the…AMBU?

    CHRIS
    Hmm…I think I should send a letter to my village, ill see you tomorrow.
    [CHRIS exits]
    [NEGI enters]

    NEGI
    How was your first day?

    JOHN
    Eh… it was alright, I met someone… he’s from Suna.

    NEGI
    SUNA!!! Really? Why is he here?

    JOHN
    He said here for the same reason as I am, to get away from the village.

    NEGI
    [Quiet]
    Well, are there any more ‘ninjas’ here?
    Well, yeah I heard that there are two of th…
    [a kunai knife soars out of
    Nowhere and is aimed
    Right at JOHN.]
    [NEGI takes out his own
    And deflects the thrown
    Weapon. Then sees an
    Exploding note attached]
    [NEGI grabs JOHN and leaps away.]

    JOHN
    Wow, thanks for saving me! Should we go home?


    *Kunai: Knife that is used mostly by shinobi.
    NEGI
    Yes, we need to leave…before we see the attacker.
    [exit JOHN and NEGI]
    [enter Shino off to the side]

    SHINO
    Damn, they got away… but its ok, I put a tracker beetle on each of them.
    [exit SHINO]

    Act I-Scene 5.

    [enter NEGI and JOHN]

    NEGI
    We should be ok for now, but please tell me what other ninja are there.

    JOHN
    Well, I heard one is super strong and fast, and the other can control bugs.

    NEGI
    You mean Shino?!?

    JOHN
    Yeah, how did you know?

    NEGI
    I had a run in with him a long time ago, he said the AMBU sent him to assassinate you. I thought they stopped looking for you.

    JOHN
    Why are they looking for me?

    NEGI
