So we left off with Tim telling Emily about how he discovered his parents were criminals....
"Seriously..." I said, "But how do you know that you weren't adopted because your parents mistreated you, or something?"
"I overheard them talking about it when I was about 10, we lived in North Carolina then, and they were talking about how the move back to Pennsylvania could be risky. You don't even believe me...do you?"
"Of course I believe you, maybe thats why Mr. Rouhler always looks like that, do you know when you were abducted..or whatever happened?"
"Actually they hit me with a car then abducted me."
"Ouch...wait thats not the point, do you know when?"
"Yes, the 24th of November AKA tomorrow."
"Well now I really believe you..."
After talking to Tim for a while longer, I decided we couldn't risk asking Mr. Rouhler himself, so we went to talk to our local police. Unfortunately, they laughed at us. They told us how ridiculus a boy showing up after 10 years sounded, and told us to go home and get some rest. Neither of us was willing to give up then, so we stayed up late that night researching and finding out facts. Tim's story about the abduction was definitely true, it was in all the newspapers from that day, which we looked up on the internet.
Both of us being resourceful kids, we decided to do a little detective work and match up some fingerprints. Along with the pictures, Tim managed to find most of his birth certificate shoved in a drawer. Luckily for us, it contained fingerprints, and the first name of Tim with an Ro at the end before it was cut off. Using your basic ink pen, we deduced that the fingerprints were definitely his, and even though half of his name was missing.
Unfortunately, we couldn't make it down to the police station that night, on account of the fact that it was midnight, and we were texting, not talking. The next day was a hard one for Tim. Seeing the look on his real fathers face, but not wanting to talk to him, he walked around with his head down all day. Usually he was such a fun loving person, everyone realised something was wrong, and the resemblence between him and Mr. Rouhler was erie. Perhaps it was because of this that during silent study period I was called to Mr. Rouhler's room, or maybe not. I would never get the proper chance to talk to him.
When I walked in the room, I saw the serious expression on my favorite teachers face, and almost simultaneously Tim walked in. Just as Mr. Rouhler was about to talk to us, tragedy struck. The windows burst into shards of glass and lab equipment flew every where. The homeroom was sent into bedlam as everyone rushed for the doors. That is everyone except me, Tim, and Mr. Rouhler. I saw them go down first.
As the back of my head met the piece of a table, I was thrown into unconsiosness.
Everything went red, then black, then the silence.
To be continued rofl
