Plot:
Drusilla is a woman in her early twenties trying to make it in the real world working as a secretary at a Law firm in San Francisco. She is running low on money and doesn’t think that she is paid well but is too shy to speak up for herself. Her boyfriend Kyle tells her to get out of there and find a new job because he has a bad felling about the company. Her best friend Alex, and sister Dawn, both think that she should get the courage to confront her boss William, and ask for a raise. Drusilla’s coworker Jamie tries to help her talk to her boss. Drusilla gets up the nerve to ask her boss for a raise or she’ll quit. William decides to carefully plan a way to get her to stay without giving her the raise because he thinks that she has potential in the company. William needs the help from his friends/employees to strategize a plan. Darla befriends Drusilla and gets personal information from her to give to William. William, Leslie, Darla, Eve, Lila, and Gavin gather together with the information that Darla got from Drusilla and make a plan. The plan involves inviting Drusilla and five of her friends plus William, Darla, Eve, Leslie, Lila, and Gavin to a small get together at the office on a Friday night. The point of this is to eliminate all of Dru’s distractions so that she will be more open to ideas. Drusilla asks Kyle, Dawn, Alex, Jamie, and her roommate Jesse to go with her. Little did they know that the gathering would be their last together.
It starts off as an innocent get together then the power is cut and the chaos starts. Everyone is split up and the eliminating begins. William the bloody takes a knife and sneaks up behind Kyle and stabs him and slashes his throat. Next to be eliminated is Dawn who is beaten to death by Gavin for she is not a hard target because she is small and meek. Next William the bloody takes a sharp desk object and hacks and pierces the object at Jamie until she falls to the ground limp. Eve lures Jesse into a closet like room and in there Leslie awaits to viciously kill him. Last is Dru’s best friend Alex, William the bloody takes him into his office for “safety” as he says but we all know the real reason. William the bloody takes a knife and stabs him in the gut and drags the knife across his belly, Alex falls to the floor dead. Drusilla finds the dead bodies of her friends and is devastated and scared stiff. She doesn’t understand why this is happening. She huddles in a corner and cries, and then William and the others come around her and explain what went down that night. The ask her to join them as a higher partner in the company. Drusilla gives in and decided to join them. The goal has been reached; Dru has been scared into joining them. If you can’t beat em join em.

Description:
This is a story I actually wrote for a summer school humanities class a little while back. The assignment was to take a true historic event found in the text that we used and write a fictional plot to a movie.
Also, those who know BTVS and Angel, will notice that I use a lot of the names in BTVS and Angel, this is simply because when I wrote this I was at the height of my Buffy obsession. haha.
Hope you enjoy. - Date: 12/02/2008

- Some more info that didn't fit in the description: The assignment was inspired on the fact that most horror movies that say they are based on true stories, steer so far away from the actual event that it changes the whole meaning. For example, our text told us that Texas Chainsaw Massacre (said to be based on a true story) was actually based on a war between the Native Americans in Texas and the White settles, which turned into a huge massacre.
