• Your best friend garret had been trying to hook you up with his best friend Darren for about 2 years.
    "_______ he thinks your beautiful you should just give him a chance" he would always tell you.

    one Saturday you were sitting home alone in your sweats and a T-shirt and your hair just thrown up and you hear a knock on the door.
    You're a little nervous but you still go up to get the door. You open it up and there's Darren. Your jaw just dropped.
    Darren sighed and said
    "he lied to me didn't he?"
    "what do you mean?" you asked.
    "Garret told me you'd be up to hang out today and that I should pick up up. But you looked really surprised so I'm guessing you didn't know. I'll just leave." he said

    you were so mad at Garret but you felt really bad and didn't want those two to get in a fight so you said
    "Oh! s**t. I'm so sorry he did tell me about it. I just forgot I'm really sorry Darren let me just get ready."
    he smiled real big and said "I think you look great like that" blushing a little.
    you giggled and thanked him but still insisted you put a pair of jeans on.

    He took you out to lunch and then to this local band playing and it was really great. And Darren really was a sweet guy and he wasn't horrible looking.

    After the day he took you home and while you guys were sitting in the driveway he started laughing.
    "What is so funny?" you giggled.

    "I know you only came today because you felt bad. I know you had no idea about this whole thing. And at first it bugged me. But I had such an amazing time with you I don't really mind. Sorry if that sounds selfish" he said

    you blushed a little and said
    "Darren I had a great time today. I'm glad Garret lied to the both of us too. ha ha ha hopefully he'll lie to us again maybe next Saturday"

    "oh gosh I sure hope so. Maybe you'll show up at my house all dressed up that time"

    you both laughed and he looked at you for a little bit and said.
    "want to take a walk there's something I need to show you."
    "sure" you said.

    You guys walked and talked. He told you all about his life and for some reason you felt like you've known Darren a lot longer then you thought.

    "why do you looked so confused" he asked

    "i don't know it's just. I feel like I've known you forever and this is are first day hanging out. I mean I've seen you in school and said hi a couple times but now for some reason I feel like I've known you my whole life." you said.

    Darren smiled so big you couldn't believe it. It also looked like he was going to cry.

    He brought you deep into the woods and showed you an old tree house. He took you up into it and showed you something written on the wall.
    it said.
    "___+Darren forever and ever <3"

    you looked at it and felt a little weird.
    "Um.. Darren this is a little weird" you admitted.

    "I know. But you wrote it." he said.

    you looked at him so confused.

    "We were best friends all through elementary school ____. We first kissed when we were 8. We were inseparable. We stayed together all through elementary and parents told us it wasn't true love. But I knew we were. I loved you so much it hurt... And then one day the summer going into 6th grade you fell out of this tree house. You lost some of your memory. But people came to see you and you just remembered them. But your mom blamed me for the whole thing and told me I could never see you again. I've waited my whole life to tell you. But I thought you'd call me crazy. I never stopped loving you. Not even now."

    he was crying now and it all came back to you. The tree house, the kiss, everything. The rush was so overwhelming you fell over.

    he ran over to you and held you up.

    "I'm so sorry I forgot you Darren. I remember it all now. I don't know how I could forget you. I've felt so empty all these years and never knew why. And now I think I know." you were crying now too and he held you really close.
    he was laughing and crying because he was just soo happy.
    "It's okay baby I forgive you I always did. I just want to be with you now and forever" he said.

    You guys held each other for a long time but it started to get dark.
    He walked you back home and you told him to come inside. Your mom was there and as soon as she saw him her Jaw dropped.

    "Darren told me everything mom. I LOVED HIM HE WAS MY OTHER HALF HOW COULD YOU JUST TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME LIKE THAT" you screamed and cried at her for a long time till Darren took you out side and held you close as you cried on his chest.

    "it's okay baby. We're together now don't worry about the past now."
    And then he gave you the most magical passionate filled kiss anyone has ever given anyone in history. It was amazing
