• One Wednesday on the year 1939,A six year old english girl called Monet was going to School,Her friend Erica by her side."Hi,Eric." said Monet."Top of the mornin,Monty."Erica said,giggling.As they walked on,The new girl,Monica,whos name was quite similar to Monet's,Rushed over to them."Hey!I've got an invitaition for you guys."She said,panting."What? what do you mean"? Erica and Monet questioned inunison."My sleepover!your coming on Saturday!"she said,bursting with excitement."Here!"she said,giving us the invataitions,and rushed off.My mouth was so wide open,An airaplane could take a trip to Mars,Right inside my mouth!Me?going to a SLEEPOVER?Wow!whats my mum gonna say about this!My mums always wanted me to go to a sleepover.she always says it would "Brighten and whiten me up"I say different.Now,All i needed to do was ask mum.So after school,Monet went up to her mum and said."can i go to my friend Monicas sleepover?"I questioned her."A SLEEPOVER?I donno,Money Honey,Do you want to go?"She said while washing the dishes."Of course!Oh please mum!If you let me go,Ill work for a scholar for Grammer School."I said,grinning."Grammer school!you should'nt be thinking about that at the old century!Your too young right now!But,Ill let you go to your little girls retreat."she said,putting the dishes away.Monet screamed,And hugged my mum so tight.Monetcould'nt say anything.She knew that meant thanks.I just had to drag in this couple of days and,BOO YAH!As Monet dragged in those labour of 2 days,Monet wished she would remember this moment forever.On Saturday,Monets mum walked Monet to Monica's house.Monets mum kissed her goodbye,and said "Right,Money Honey,Ill be picking you up tomorrow."have fun! and she walked home.I went into the house and saw all the screaming girls playing Secrets.Monet went to join them,and had a lot of giggles with her new friends.For dinner,They had Roast Patatoes and beans.Monet said to Monica's mum "Thanks for the dinner,it was lovley." Monet said,Smiling."Why thank you,Monet."she replied,smiling back.
    Then,It was night time.We all got into our longjohns and went to sleep.suddenly,Monet heard a big bang.She woke up instantly and woke everyone up.All the girls were rubbing their eyes,Then ran to the window.All of them saw a shooting star.They all made their wish,and of course,Monet wished for never to forget this day.70 years on,And all the girls are still good friends,And they will never forget that day,The day that changed their lives forever.
