‘I would spit on it.’
‘If I ever saw your face through a windshield I would spit on it. Do you hear me?’
She nodded lethargically, staring at me with her round bug eyes; those detestable eyes: two white balls with black fat circles on top. And the face around them…ugh. A bleached orange fringe hangs like a thick old dusty curtain inches from her brows. Dirty-orange is such a gruesome colour. It matches her waxy sallow skin. Just as detestable. Plain as parchment; a blank one, as her expression. And the mouth… A sticky pot closed by two purplish lines, as thick and pleated as worms. She’s my age. 21. Yet, I don’t see anything fresh or youthful about her. Her presence makes the air dense and heavy as if an intoxicating fume had possessed the room. I utterly hate her. And I don’t need to know her to do that.
-------
She was walking down the street and I was on the back seat of a cab. It was stuck in traffic and I looked out the window, I saw her hair flapping in the wind (such a detestable sight) and then she rolled one of her bug eyes at me and grinned with her sawed teeth.
She turned to approach the cab and I moved on my seat, annoyed. I saw her torso and dangling arms come closer and then her appalling face descended on the other side of the window. I glared at her and wished the glass would shatter on her face. She didn’t notice this, she was waiting for me to roll down the window with an amused expression on her face. I rolled it down, unwillingly; but there wasn’t much I could do. Someone would reprove me if I was impolite to her. She didn’t have a clue of how I felt. ‘Pity…
As the window came down she immediately poked her head in with a chuckle: ‘Wow. This looked like that scene in “Romeo and Juliet”! (giggle) How are you? Haven’t seen you in a while!’
I started at this. ‘Romeo and Juliet?’, I spat.
She smiled. ‘Yeah! You know, the film version… By Baz Luhrmann? When Leonardo DiCaprio stares at Claire Danes through a glass fish tank? That’s a cool scene. They just stare at each other through it, all mesmerized. I wouldn’t know how I’d act if that happened to me… (pensive sigh) You?’
A strange mood started to fill me; like a drug that had just been injected in my veins; pleasurable and poisonous. A smile began to pull on the corners of my mouth; my eyes smouldering at her excited face of anticipation.
I tilted my head towards her and said…
----
Well… You know what I answered.

Description:
Just a strange narrative that came to mind when i was feeling particularly "poisonous". It goes back and forth in time. Hope it's not too confusing.
Comments are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks.
