He went unnoticed, unseen and existence was unknown ,yet, he didn't mind nor care,so dying didn't matter did it?Grey and musky it was raining, dark, cloudy, normal weather you could say for the little town of Hana.Streets were scattered and painted over with puddles as a boy rode his old, painted over, and slowly starting to get to be a nuisance mountain bike. His name is a mystery, well, probably because no one knows it,nor cared to,he was perfectly fine with this.Truly not noticed by most and if he is its only for a minuscule moment, not that he wanted to be noticed in the first place,he was more of a loner and he liked it that way, kept him away from ridiculing eyes. His face was battered and muddy, his hair jet black and stained with dirt, hanging over his discolored eyes to keep them hidden from discriminating stares that hurt him for no particular reason, mostly because he just wished to fit in and have friends.Right now he didn't care,he wasn't paying attention to where he was going, how fast he was riding, or if anyone,or anything, was in his way, this was normal for him.It was just how he was,it didn't matter if he ran into a bus or hit a tree, not like it hadn't happened before, some on purpose and others accidentally.Blue and green eye's looked forward and showed no emotion, grazing the landscape but only blank as tears streamed down his bloody, beaten, and tired face.Tears racking his body and making it shake, tears went down his cheeks and off his chin to the abyss of rain that poured throughout the town, arms bare as the rain poured on him,in a white sleeveless hoodie, showing the bruises and cuts which made him shiver, there wasn't much you could do about it in this weather though, most were used to it's endless shroud of bad weather. His adopted Father had taken his drunken rage out on him, again, making him leave on his one escape. When he thought about it,it had been forever since his wife left him and he apparently still hadn't gotten over it,it was pathetic in the boy's view and he was the young on.Looking at the blank streets he realized something, its was quiet except for the boy's breathing, the rain, and his bike tired hitting the pavement below ,calm, for once the boy felt like he could smile,if only it would last him,it never seemed to.He looked up from the handle bars, lifting his head to look in a blank stare as he went down death row.Sure,no one had ever died on the street, they may have hurt themselves but never anything fatal. It was just the hill was steep enough to make you think you would crash and die.Heck he had heard a few of the kids in his class thought they could travel to the future if they went full speed down the thing, they both broke a leg and an arm.He gripped the handle bars, keeping tight grasp as he sped up,gaining momentum. He felt the corner of his lips twitched upward, the danger, the risk, and the adrenaline making his heart thump widely in his chest from the excitement. His bike tire hit something on the pavement and it twisted,he jerked to the opposite direction from reflex to try and steady himself before he gained to much speed.Flipping off his bike and flying through the air, when he looked up through the rain he could hear his heart beat only as he watched the rain, the whole thing going in slow motion to him.He heard the clang, his head hitting a caution sign on the side of the road, cutting into his skull and splitting it open with a sickening sound. The boy opened his mouth to scream in agony, the words could not escape his throat, leaving him to think in agony, screaming at no one in his mind. The rain pelted his face, washing away the tears, blood, and dirt the coated his hair and cheeks. Why,What have I done to deserve this.He thought,a choke of a sob escaping his throat from the wish to cry out, call for help.He cried, holding onto the sliver of string and life he had left.He was slipping,he could feel it,the turning and clicking of the bicycles wheels ringing through his ears.He clenched his teeth from the pain in his head as his gaze went blurry around him, trying to lift his arm he winced. He let his eyes slide shut before opening and glancing over, seeing his once white hood a crimson, blood soaked into the fabric like a sponge as it spread over the side walk and into the grass. He froze, feeling something looming over him, something dark, not exactly evil but close to it.He could see it,his beaten and wet reflection in the long curved blade above him,his gaze fixed on his own in the reflection.Sickened by what he saw, blood and tears, dirt caked to his hair and blood sliding out of his mouth. How had he not noticed that?"Your going to have to come with me."A voice, smooth and charming despite his reputation. From rumors and tales he had heard the boy remembered someone saying when you saw death he was supposed to be the scariest thing in your mind, enough to wet yourself, that wasn't so for those who faced their worst fear everyday.Like him,who faced his step father every day, getting the same humiliating conversation over how he was worthless and not worth anything.Getting the point of his rage and depression with the end of a fist of a broken beer bottle. So,even though Death was supposed to be scary to a wet yourself extent,he was probably only making girls wet.The guy above him, tall and lanky, straight white hair that framed his face and bangs that hit the top of his eyes. The stare he was giving as he starred down at the boy was bored, his eyes a pitch black with a crimson tint to the edge.A large scar went over his left eye, making the wounded boy curious, wondering how he had gotten it.The words not replied to what Death had said made the fine line on his lips go to a scowl "I said your going to have to come with me."He repeated, narrowing his eyes at the boy who just blankly starred up at him.He wasn't actually that threatening, not even wearing the classic black rope, which had personally always been his favorite thing to hear. That classic rope.He was wearing a black baggy sweatshirt,a pair of cargo pants and all star converse sneakers, not even tied either.Way to make yourself scary.Without realizing it the boy no longer felt the pain in his head, and clenched his eyes shut, cautious and hesitant before sitting up.He flickered open his blue eye and lifted his hands in front of himself, gasping and yelling at the sight of his transparent hands. He stood up,frantically patting at his own body, tangible but see through."Sorry kid, your dead."Death spoke nonchalantly, leaning against the pole the boy had hit.
