"C'mon, Kye! Be a bit more aggressive in your attacks!"
I was being aggressive. Gray was just so.... bulky. It also hurt when I tried and hit him. I stood cracking my knuckles. "This is unfair, Gray!"
Gray laughed at me. "Use that arm and it won't be so unfair."
I looked down at me demon arm. I smiled. "Okay. But you asked for it."
In one moment, I was in front of Gray. My hand reached out and grabbed Gray by the collar. In one swoop I had flung him half way across the warehouse, where he crashed into boxes, weapons and ammunition spilling everywhere. Natalie fumed, her cheeks puffing out. "I told you two to be careful!!"
She was quickly cut out by the whistles and whoops of the other Freedom Fighters. They were the only ones who accepted me fully, and treated me like I was normal. Gray stood, walking up to Natalie and picking her up. The eleven year old girl was smart. She had created much of what the Freedom Fighters had used for equipment and transportation. Her masterpiece was 'The Rig', though. Basically, it was like a Hummer-Jeep-Tank-RV all in one. It was huge and could smash through a building if it wanted to.
I walked up to Gray, holding out my normal hand. "No hard feelings, eh?"
He laughed and patted me hard on the back. An 'ouch' was in order, but I was too busy trying to catch my breath to even say that.
"It's okay, kid. Y'know, you're pretty strong."
I shook my head. "Naaah."
A small light began chiming. Everyone moaned and began walking to their vehicles. I followed behind Natalie, Gray, Thomas and Frederick to The Rig. Frederick and Thomas were Freedom Fighters, and probably the only ones other than Natalie who could even think of driving The Rig.
I plopped down in one of the many couches. "Where are we going now?"
"Main Square East. There is a rally peace rally going on, and the military is getting involved. Jasper wanted us to get involved, just in case the military opens fire on the rally."
Jasper was 33years old and had brown-blond hair. He often wore normal citizen clothes, and seem pretty normal. Other than the fast that he was a mass weapons distributor and rally organizer. Also Natalie's father.
Judging from the way Natalie was now, I think the term 'The apple doesn't fall from the tree' comes to mind.
It took no time to get to the rally. We waited in The Rig as the other Freedom Fighters filed out, spreading out among the crowd so as not to be found out so easily. Then again, when you had a giant war machine in the middle of the rally, one would tend to become suspicious.
The first gun shot fired, and Natalie and Gray both smiled.
"Party time."
