Part 1
There he stood, his 6'4" body towering over his opponent.
"There is no one here to stop me this time," He said, smirking down at the boy. "so why don't you we start off where we were last time?" He asked, but before the boy had a chance to answer, he was being lifted into the air.
"Let me down!" The small boy squealed, only making the tall one chuckle.
That was when I came into view.
"Sam, when are you going to leave him alone?" I asked, like I has so many times before. "Picking on little kids will get you no where in life."
He just chuckled louder; his usual response.
"Just like old times, I see." I said, shaking my head. "You've always gone for the little guys." I said, recalling the first time I had ever seen Sam.
It was never hard to remember that day.
I was about seven years old, and it had been the first day of second grade. I had just moved, so I would had to make new friends all over again.
I was a warm day, and I remember I had decided to where my brand new dress. When I walked into my new class room, was when I first saw him. And just like that, I had my very first crush. He had short brown hair and brilliant green eyes. I thought he was the cutest boy ever.
I was about to go say hello, when he walked over to another boy and pushed him over.
"I want that truck." He said, taking the fire red toy truck from the other boy's hands, and laughed at him.
"Give that back to him!" I yelled, "It's not nice to take toys away from other people without asking."
The green eyed boy looked at me and smiled. "Okay" He said, in a cute innocent way.
Then he tossed the toy at the other boy and hit him in the face. Thankfully, it was then that the teacher walked in and had seen what had just happened. She took them both away and made the green eyed boy apologize to the boy who had had the truck first.
Soon after that, the teacher took role call.
"Allen?" She called.
"Here." Called back a pudgy in the back.
"Anthony?"
"Here." Said another boy.
When I looked around to see who had answered, I saw that Anthony was the boy who was playing with the truck.
I hadn't paid much attention to the other names until she called my name.
"Sam?" She asked.
"Here." I said, but I wasn't the only one who had answered.
When I looked around to see who else had answered, I was shocked to see that it was him; the green eyed boy's name was also Sam.
"Well," The teacher said in a cheery tone, "I see we will be having two Sams this year."
Sam looked at me, and I stared back at him, almost transfixed by his green eyes. It was then that I knew that I would be seeing a lot of this boy, and I was right.
Every year was the same; Sam would find a kid smaller the he was, and would pick on him. Lucky for Anthony, he had had a growths burg early on. The years were the same; I would always stand up for the little guy, and he would just smile. I had never let him know that I still had that crush on him, so that was just the way in went.
Here we stand now, 16 and 17, with the smaller boy being lifted into the air by Sam: a trick he started to use in eighth grade.
"Oh Sam, I was wondering when you were going to get here." He said with that cute smile.

- It has a lot of potential, but I would send grammar check and spell check through it a time or two. It really speaks to girls who think they can change a guy, if you ask me.
