• their parents never actually planned to have twins. and they definetly didnt expect them to have powers.Aya, the youngest and the girl, had the power to get wings on her arms like a bird. and Mel, the oldest and the boy, could posses animals. they both had black hair, (though Aya's was very long and Mel's was short) many freckles on their face, and shocking green eyes. how did they figure out that they had powers?
    well, Mel was playing on the beach at age 8 (they lived on an island called firestone island) when a seagull landed in front of him. he disappeared in a puff of smoke. the smoke drifted into the bird. the bird then started to jump around like crazy.
    the bird tested his wings as though he just started learning to fly. then, when he got the hang of it, flew around in circles for a couple of minutes. then the smoke left the bird, the bird fell to the ground, the smoke drifted to the ground, and Mel appeared where the smoke was.
    his parents who were watching him stood there with their mouths hanging open awestruck. Aya was generally the same way except instead of controlling a bird, she spread wings and flew around that way.
    that was just the biggining of a huge adventure.
