Chapter One:
Lost in Nevada
Annabell sat quietly as her sister, Audrey drove almost furiously down a bumpy and lonely stretch of Nevada road. "Anna," grumbled Audrey holding out one of her sun tanned hands to Annabell "Hand me the map, I think you got us lost again." She obeyed, fearing Audrey might veer into somthing in her slowly boiling rage. "Oh lucky us." said Audrey in her sarcastic voice "Another little shithole drive-through town is about....Four miles down the road." She threw the map into the back seat and stomped on the gas peddle, making the run-down mini van hit atleast eighty. "That speed limit sign said seventy." Annabell said looking at her inpatient sister. "It also had a dead dog nailed to the pole, and I don't think any speeders would go below seventy on a creepy little road out in the middle of nowhere like this." Audrey snapped. As they drove, dust picked and slightly blurred the wind shield, yet Audrey did not care in her silent rage. The two Merriwether sisters, both of age twenty-three, were driving back to Oregon, going through Nevada, up California, and finally to Oregon. Annabell was a silent smart-alic, but had a good head on her shoulders, while Audrey was rather hot-headed and inpatient. Both enjoyed tourism, seeing places all over the nation and beyond.
Soon the town was in sight, then Audrey pulled in a few minutes later, swerving into a small parking space marked by two faded white paint lines. The car doors swung open, and the Merriwether girls sild out slowly, streching and groaning with relif to be on their feet. Although it was good to be out of the car, the town seemed deserted, the buildings rusted and the signs falling off their poles, like a ghost town. The sign that had the town's name had graffiti all over it, rendering it illedgible. The police station sat quietly to the right. "I'll go ask where we are." said Audrey walking over to the run-down police station, Annabell silently follwing. The door creaked open and the girls looked around the room, where a desk sat with some papers scattered on it's surface and six empty cells waited for criminals behind it.

- It looks like it might be an interesting read. However, just make sure you proof-read before you submit the work. Besides that, nice start, I can't wait for chapter 2.
