• I put the tip of the bottle to my heart, “Pull the trigger for me.” He shook his head and I stood on my toes and kissed him. I put a little pressure on his fingers and he squeezed the trigger. I backed up and smiled…

“You are evil, you know that.” I winked and grabbed the bottle from him and sprayed more on me. When I walked out I felt as if I was weak again. I went to my room and grabbed my laptop, I went to google and typed in, ‘how to find a vampire’ a site popped up and I read it. I wanted to meet a vampire. That’s what I wanted. I laughed at myself, I had already gone through this phase. I shut the laptop and put my shoes back on, “Damon lets go out.” I yelled down to him. After I tied my shoes I walked downstairs and called my dad. It rang three times before the answer machine came on. After the beep, “Hey dad, look this is well not hard to say. I don’t want to be immortal so I sprayed myself with that stuff. Anyway I have some questions you know how I went through that vampire, werewolf, and stuff phase. Well are they real? Oh got to go Im on my cell.” I hung up. Damon walked in and held his hand towards the door. I led and looked at the door. I looked at him and shrugged and throw all my force in my leg and kicked the door. The door banged open I smiled, “Haha there we go.” He shook his head, “Um, Damon…are you stronger than you were before you were turned into an immortal?”
    “No, why?”
My eyes went wide, “I am. Before I would just kick a door and it wouldn’t brake…now” I gestured at the door, “now…it brakes.”
He shrugged, “Oh well. Lets go.” I nodded and we walked to his car. We got in and just drove. He parked the car on the curb and we got out and walked. I bumped him but he just put his arm around me. We passed stores and we came to a jewelry store, “Hey, can I go in there for a second?” He nodded and he followed me in.
A bell rang when we opened the door. I walked to a show case and saw a sliver cross hung on a sliver chain. I tapped on it, “How much?”
The clerk looked at me, “Hundred.” I nodded I took out my wallet and grabbed my credit card. Damon shook his head, “I’ll pay.” I smiled. Damon handed him his credit card. The man swiped it and handed the necklace to me. I put it on. We walked outside, “Why did you get that?”
“You’ll think Im stupid or something.”
    “Try me.”
    “Vampires.”
“No, you have the right to believe in them, one they are real. Two its right to have something to fear.” I laughed and stopped and hugged him. My phone buzzed and I let go of him.
    “Hello?”
“Jayne, its your father. Why did you change your immortal aspect.”
“I didn’t want to stay alive forever. Now about my other questions.”
“Yes, they are. Now back to-”
“Dad, Im stronger than I was before I was immortal. What does that mean?”
There was an intake of breath and he stuttered, “I-I-It cant b-b-be. Jayne go home Im coming. We need to talk.”
“Dad! Wait! Dad?!?” He hung up. I froze and Damon spoke, “Jayne? Jayne!” He shook me.
“We’ve got to get home, now. My dad is panicking.” He nodded and we walked back to the car and drove home. When we pulled up The door was still broken. Emma was in the living room watching television. We walked in and she called to us, “Hey your dad called saying he is going to be here in a minute.” A car screeched outside, “He is here.”
“No duh.” My dad came rushing in. He embraced me, “Dad, whats wrong?”
“Sit.” I walked into the kitchen and sat on the counter, “Okay there is…well a story that I thought wasn’t real til now. I think you might be the prodigy.”…
