• One day a little lizard decided to go for a walk. He put his hat and coat on, for it was winter, and chilly outside. He stepped outside, and locked the door behind him.
    As he walked down the street, he saw an old mouse who locked like she was having trouble caring her groceries, and being the gentleman he was, it was only right to go help.

    He walked up to her and asked " ma'am it looks like your having a bit of trouble there, mind if i help?"
    The mouse looked up, and smiled " why that would be lovely, you're such a kind gentleman."

    The lizard was very happy, and picked up two of the grocery bags. they walked in silence, in till they got to her house.
    "thank you so much for everything you've done." the old mouse said

    "it was my pleasure, miss..."

    "miss mousy, and you are?"

    "my name is larry, pleased to meet you miss mousy."

    "oh please... just call me mousy."

    "ok then mousy, it was great meeting you, now if you'll excuse me but i must be taking me leave now."

    " Ok larry, come over sometime for tea."

    " i think i will sometime, how about this sunday?"

    " sure, works for me."

    " great meet you on sunday. goodbye now."

    " bye, have a nice day larry."

    " yes, you to mousy."

    larry said as he walked of. what a good way to start off the day. larry thought. he had helped a lady, made friends with them, and now he was off on a beautiful walk.
